My Garage is 23' X 20' total floor space 452 ft² and the Outbuilding 16' X 20' 323 ft²

Start the New Year with a thread in "Garage Gallery" … I have surfed around on the forum for long time to get inspiration to my outhouse and garage. Must say I am impressed by both the forum and members creativity here!

Posting this thread to show progress and how my garage will finally be inside, hoping of course for some help for a well working hobby garage but still have the possibility to park two cars there. Sorry my English, I do my best :)

Overview Picture of the property. Main house, outbuilding, garage and trash house (bottom right corner).

We bought the property for over 16 years ago and has since then carried out various improvements. Some of it is a little changing on the garage with a car-wash space behind the garage and a new outhouse (store-house) with a baking room for my wife.

What I hope to get as I wrote earlier in this thread is a well working hobby garage with space for tools and equipment but still have the possibility to park our two cars there at night and especially in winter.

For heating, I have installed air to air heat pump… I have two small compressors of 2.5 kW each connected together and hopefully can give air to most of the air tools I need. The plan is to have these two in the outbuilding with piped into the garage...

Purchased from IKEA 4 wall cabinets to be mounting before they can be hung on the wall ... 2 pieces 60x80 and 2 pieces 40x80.

I will be back with more photos :)

Very nice.
Your garage looks well thought out and well built.
I like that Ikea over bench cabinet you found. I've been looking for something to store aerosol cans, etc.

Doors finished! The doors were shiny...

I have a Billy shelf 202x80 that must be cut to 202x60 to fit between the garage door and the wall on the right side.

I need several cabinets or shelves, workbench, table for drill press with more...

I have no specific plan for how to do all this :)

Been at the public landfill today and some time in the garage :) Mounted vise on the workbench, I have used sealant TEC7 brown in transition workbench and wall to seal the opening and fasten workbench to the wall.

The two plank are to get vise right in relation to the use and workbench.

Mounted with 12 mm bolt and large washer.

Looking through IKEAs website, I think I found it. Or at least something very similar!

I believe this is the base with 2 doors.

Here are the legs.

Here is the bottom cabinet but there are a lot of options under the Models drop down menu.

Garage Ventilation, today I have none. Heating with heat pump, but with two cars in the garage, I'm depending on to regulate the air and especially moisture is problematic governed by dehumidifier Woods DS28F with 10 liter water tank. Working on getting valves in the garage, air into the front and out the back. May need to have a fan on the back for getting the air to circulate. Unsure of how this affects the heat pump? See it being used fans in this thread: Garage Ventilation

Bought two IKEA BEKVÄM trolleys which I considered to have drill press and a small band saw on. A slightly larger trolley had perhaps been better for both inclusive bench grinder?

Thanks! When the error occurred, we had a visit from the power supplier who believed the fault lay in the cable to fuse cabinets inside the house and it was not their responsibility.

Without electricity I had to do something. Later I found the error by cable to the input switch had melted insulation on several cm. Contacted a friend who operates electrical installation company that repaired temporarily and replaced part a few days later. Approved electrician and papers are in order

DYPEN: just curious since Lefsa is one of our holiday treats what do you put in yours? i'm 100% Norwegian and maybe 4 or 5 generations from Norway (no relatives married as far as i know, but i do have a few strange moments). we like brown sugar in butter and then 10 seconds in the microwave, but the kids always liked plain white sugar.

i have never really liked flat bread, but if you make Krumkakka i'll be right over.

thanks for the pictures and i'm sure i gained a pound just looking at them.

cheers
