Wow, that definitely seems like a meth related theft... Looks like they grabbed odd stuff. I wouldn't think the Ryobi would bring nearly as much cash on resale as other stuff, so with limited space, I would have only grabbed the DeWalt, Milwaukee and any higher end stuff I could get my hands on. But, I'm also not on drugs...
And I was wondering if it could be tied to a sub-contractor mole.
In my parents case, it was just opportunist teens/young men. And they were caught trying to pawn a very specialized tool from the finish carpenter so the pawn shop knew it was stolen since they had been tipped off.
Is there a bright side with the insurance? I have 100% replacement on my household goods due to a couple of riders that come with the age of our house and an umbrella policy. We had an ice storm and lost power for a couple of days. The adjuster asked how much food we lost out of the freezer or fridge. I looked at him funny, then he said we had 100% loss coverage on the food in our fridge and freezer because it was a natural disaster. I laughed and said, no losses, but it was good to know.
