Kitchen looks great. I like the colors.
We still haven't installed the Haltech yet.
With any luck that we will get that done in next couple of months.
Did you ever get your issue while dynoing resolved?

Awesome! Let me know when you get yours up and running on it. Yeah....it ended up being PTU related. I just upgraded to the Haltech HPI6 and the its fine now. I am going to rent a dyno sometime soon and finish up the tune. Or try to put a dyno downstairs in my house. I have been researching sound deadening and ventilation systems trying to see if it can be done without the neighbors killing me. I just really want my own dyno.

Great work, madhatter, the kitchen looks awesome. I'd like to know about the cabinets too, I've heard about places who replay cabinets and doors and give good results. How about the floor? Refinished or replaced?

Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk

Thanks. The cabinets are just new doors and paint and I sanded the floors and just stained them a different color. Much better than it was before....and not too terrible on cash if you do it yourself.

Interesting supra.
Are you just adding chrome / polish bits or doing more?
What's up with the tv inside?

Yeah for the most part I am just adding a bunch of OCD Works parts to it and doing some maintenance. The car is immaculate and I'm nervous to touch the damn thing. The owner had this as a show car for years and thats where the TV came from.

How do you like the new kitchen w/o the island? We're gathering ideas to renovate our kitchen and we don't have an island right now but considering to put in one.

MH: is this your personal car? is the budget well under $100k or you don't have to tell. BEST OF LUCK and take lots of pictures and post up as you have time.

i was just reading some posts about tile flooring and wondering how yours is holding up since you are rolling around cars and tool boxes on yours all the time. still ok??

cheers and good to see you are keeping yourself busy.

drivesitfar,

Yeah...this is one of my personal toys. Haven't gotten the exact build game plan together yet on how aggressive I plan to go. Part of me is thinking 700hp and part of me 1K+ Regardless I am going to build the engine first and then decide.

Ill post pics along the way.

Regarding the tile....still love it! I dropped a Lambo rotor from chest high yesterday and it barely scratched the floor and dammaged the rotor (which was bad anyway). I would 100% do it again.

Hope all is well with you!

Good to hear you are liking your tile and that you were able to do it yourself. You don't see tile that often and much less that large 24x24 size. I've got a very similar commercial grade tile that I'll be DIY installing in my garage soon, so your success is encouraging!

MH: still kicking and learning something on GJ daily it seems.

so just to be clear you would so buy and install the big tiles in your basement and garage again or you would drop the engine from chest high to loosen some other parts you don't want or need?

that engine build should be a site to see and hopefully fun to without spending all the money you can find.

GOOD LUCK and yes take plenty of pictures even of the mishaps which hopefully there won't be one or more again.

cheers

awesome garage build and toys. how wide apart are the legs for your lift? I would love to get one but I fear it will take up most of my 20x20 space.

I did out a lot of research before installing my tile and was a little nervous when I started. ZERO regrets now. Its easy to clean up and durable as hell.

Post some pics when you install yours.

Very interesting project Saxon.
You won't need to go to Xtreme once that's done.

LOL probably not huh? Although I still really want a 458 I just can't justify the expense of one at this point.

If you are in Lex feel free to swing by and check out the new project. Also, I am planning on a dyno this spring so if / when you guys need to tune let me know.

Each tile in the pic is 24 inches wide so ~120 inches depending on what point you want to measure from. If you want an exact measurement from point to point let me know and ill grab it for you.

Great transformation. The lambo looks huge with no rear end!

Whats the story on the latest project?
Looks more like a Kit Car of some kind.
As I highly doubt a Real Lambo frame would look like that.
