The truck will never be done, you will have other projects that take priority, a truck that gets used will transform over the years, it will get bruised, used, and sometimes abused, but never truly be done.

Where did you get the seat covers? That retro look would be great in my '82 S10

Anybody else going to be a Crotchety curmudgeon for Halloween?
Surprised you're finding any time to play. Must not have as much **** as I do to organize, sell, discard, pack.

I have seen them made into tool boxes. Also could use them for gasoline.

I always thought these were cool. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004YNOT0Q/?tag=atomicindus08-20
The damage to that gauge and the 'second chance' you got is a great reason to NOT put an amp gauge back in. And go with a Voltmeter.

Looks great, progress is progress.
Digging your truck! Just came across the thread.

RivennHewn sitting on that for 30 years, unreal![]()
Very nice, kind of like a time capsule.
A 1969 AMX, that's way cool. Looks like it's in great shape, too! (or maybe it's a '70, I can't see the top of the hood).
Believe it's a '69. F'd up and didn't get a vid of it running. Maybe later.
Nice AMX! i've had a few. Is it a 290, 343, or 390?
