Making some progress on this, made 2 different sizes additional bins and switched to PETG to see how that prints.
Got a set running now.
I spent last weekend whacking out my boy's truck, swapped out 4 ball joints and all the steering links. So that's done. In the meantime i printed out a bunch of the larger grey bins and yesterday made the small black bin in CAD and printed two sets in PLA. The rolls of PETG showed up a couple days ago, i'm going to make a lot of stuff in that blue if it works out. matches the shop.
And the PETG was only $10/kg. So half the PLA price.
I didn't realize how hard it was to get nuts out of the bottom of the dividers i had in here before. It sucked. The bins work much nicer.
There's a lot of space under the overhang in front of the bins. Short of playing bin tetris to get things out of there, any ideas on what to do in that space? There's no way to modify the drawers for full extension.
