Were the links any help??
One of the links failed but I get the idea.

Still to much grass left Steve, put up another shed and save on mowing.![]()
, I have to agree!! I have already started on the "The Storage Solution" and I am in the process of ripping out the fernery that's on the west side of the carport. This will give me an additional 3 mt x 10 mt of storage shed. Yet another of Mrs 1/2 Cup inspired initiatives that I readily agreed to.
I know you are showing this as a past build so can I ask how long ago that took place ?
Will be keen to see more of the Solar as that sounds very interesting. Dull here so had to give the Gen Set a run earlier. Will your system still supply power if the grid fails ?
Hope you get that phone line fixed.
Your Solar system I will be keen to see at some point in time. Although with (if) the mains failed you have panels doing nothing.
Water in the phone pit has been an issue here many times.
You may be forced to do a site visit and inspection at some point.
Forced ?
I have been doing quite a bit of research in regards to the mains fail situation and I have some ideas on the back burner that I may pursue after the installation is complete and inspected. Let me say this technology will be my friend.![]()
The land line has been in and out most of the day, I get brief periods when the modem will work like now but still no phone.
Forced ?
I would like to visit but with no force.
As for the inspection. What will that involve ?![]()
Again keen to know how you proceed seeing you have seen both my small UPS system and the whole property system here. I would still like to add a Wind Gen to one or both of mine. Being careful still as many make a lot of noise.
I know the feeling. Lucky you are making full posts on the forum and it is not dropping out whilst you are doing that.

Sometimes its the little things that get noticed, like how you dig a nice neat stump hole and there is no loose dirt anwhere to be seen. Pride in a job well done or just doing it the right way from the start.
My old man would alway say that there is only one way to do a job, the correct way.
The long and the short of it the door is always open and the welcome mat out (provided you can get past Shelby) at the Shed Downunder be it for a cuppa, a chat, beer or what ever.
I have been lucky with the posts thus far but Mrs 1/2 Cup had a fair bit of trouble earlier, it appears to be working ok now, still no phone.
I will be keeping you updated on the solar progress.![]()
To that end I see the GJ nowadays playing a pivotal role in providing that pride in your work.
I know when I first saw some of my efforts posted by HOTFR8 on the GJ I was pretty chuffed.
I don't always get it right the first time but its about having a go.

"As a post script Ms 1/2 Cup is not real happy about the rust stains on the concrete. "
Promise to stain the whole thing when you're done... with every project you can ever think of for the rest of your life... (mumble the last part)

We are in holiday mode here at the Shed Downunder and not too much is happening in the shed, we have our Son, Daughter in law and first grandson (18 month old) down from Sydney and staying with us for the next week. Its been a special time for us and are taking the time to make the most of it whist they are here.
I was musing through some pictures last night, after the little bloke had gone to bed and I had some quiet time to myself and found some that I thought would be of interest. Some may be aware that I have my Private Pilots licence.
This was my dads Cessna 150M that I logged some 200 hours in command before he sold it a couple of years ago.

I have always has a passion for Warbirds and in particular any thing that sports a Rolls Royce Merlin power plant. I was over the moon when Mrs 1/2 Cup presented me with an opportunity to fly in one for my 50th. as this has been on my bucket list since I was knee high to a grass hopper.
