That's gonna look good. I sure like the L shape bench.
Thank you very much
Gerard
The L shaped bench works well in the space I have, the trick is keeping the clutter at bay. Every thing has a place and every thing is in its place.
Looking great!
bet it will feel nice having that space nice and neat!
Sub thanks for dropping by.
It is a great feeling to finally getting some semblance of order in the shed for sure.
…and he flies too! I guess I'm just lazy. I always admire those that live life instead of watching life go by. The people of GJ have been such a motivator and I'm glad I found my way here. Cheers.
I wouldn't say your lazy
shorty
I will let you in on a bit of me pre
GJ days, I struggled a lot with motivation and anxiety was an issue and things were getting me down generally. It sort of crept up on me over a number of years and motivation came in small doses let me tell you.
With the help of my
GP and
Mrs 1/2 Cup I took some time off work to get off the merry go round so to speak and that was about the time I discovered the
GJ and I have never looked back, nor do I want to.
I agree the GJ and its members provide just so much motivation it is incredible and if I can give back just a little of that every day I will.
Thanks again.

You might have said it before but what gauge are your DRAW fronts? Are you forming them with a brake?
Oh and now I have seen it all. A Makita married to a Dewalt. A Makwalt or a Dekita. Jk.
akdiesel The DRAW fronts are 18 gauge ( 1.25 mm ) brushed finished stainless steel and they were done on a modern brake that has all the whistles and bells so I get a nice consistent outcome.
Most of my power tools are Makita and the battery powered tools are Dewalt.
The combo works really well and you could say its a match made in tool heaven.
Looking forward to see this work bench finished
Thank you very much
vegar I will keep you posted as I go along.
4 day weekend? I'm jealous! Hope you're having a good one. Drawer fronts look good, and cool to see the plane stuff too. You do have many talents and hobbies don't you! Looking forward to seeing the F engine go together. We had some wild weather up here over the past week too.
Cheers,
Andrew.
Andrew, I could do a four day weekend every week its amazing what you can get done.

Lets put it this way you could say my interests and hobbies are
Diversified to say the least only thing is there is not enough hours in the day.

We are still waiting on the harmonic balancer and bronze valve guides for the
F engine to come from the UK and that's about all we need at this point to get a start.
My eldest had his last run for the year at
Winton on Sunday and was down into the 1 min 50 sec with the borrowed close ratio box which was a great effort considering the conditions and year old stickie tyres.
I went for a drive yesterday and man there are some trees down after that storm we had on Sunday. I have pretty much clean up around here now.
Have a great day guys.
