1/2 cup merry Christmas to you and yours and gave a blessed new year!!!
1/2,
I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your projects and life with us.
It's threads like yours that make garage journal feel like the home and family that it is.
To you, Mrs 1/2, the rodents, kids, grandkids and those you hold dear, a very merry Christmas and a great 2017!

Congratulations on the accumulation of flight time!
But more so, congratulations on the time off to rest your brain and reflect on the year that has been and on those to come.
May your shed time be especially productive!
All these Saturdays are truly a joy when you finally do retire!

I can forsee an new upcoming issue in the new year being that between QST and that of QFT. QFT being Quality Flight Time.
Its a struggle but our management is very supportive of that. All the best to you and your family Steve.
Looking forward to your new projects next year.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 1/2 cup, on behalf of all the regulars here in GJ your encouragement and updates are much appreciated [emoji2]

Andy, thank you...
Any QST is a balance of productivity and smelling the roses ( make that smelling the lubricants and cleaners in the shed )
Don't tempt me about retirement, I think I will have to work till I am 90 to afford it plus I am having a ball at work..
HOTFR8, you are on the money there.
We actually have quite a bit of work booked in for the drone in the new year both internally and externally from the company. The issue is I have trouble finding the time at work given what I am employed to do in the first place as an Electrical and Mechanical Standards & Quality Coordinator ( short for Girl Friday ) .Its a struggle but our management is very supportive of that.
Anyway its great to have so much fun at work, the days go like you wouldn't believe..
GIRL FRIDAY? You mean I spent twenty years as a Quality Control specialist and should have been wearing a skirt????????? Although I have been a Girl Friday too and that requires more skills. Keep up the good work Steve!
Hey, a quick line to say, "please be safe and happy over the festive season"
Merry Christmas, Steve, to you and your family (including UMR). Many thanks again for the Ford Script, and someday I will post something to you.
Looking forward to learning how to do more things 1/2 way/.

So last night she decided ( and when she gets a bee in her bonnet there is no stopping her ) that she would pay them a surprise visit on Christmas day.
Our family have a traditional Aussie get together for Christmas Lunch and we each rotate our homes to host it. Similarly every one is allocated one or two menu items to bring:
Kim, Trev and Val..........prawns, potato salad, beetroot, ice cream, lollie tray
Dad...........ham
Julie & 1/2 Cup...trifle, tomato/onion
Andrew & Amy...chocolate ripple cake.
Mal & Jo...marinated turkey, pork belly & Nan's lamingtons Pudding/meringues/shortbread
Matt & Cara - coleslaw
Kurtis & Brittni - dessert
Waynee & Karyn...chooks
Jess & Dane....fruit salad,custard and cream
Laura & Russ...scalloped potatoes
Braiden
Melissa & Doug and Tom & Ian - beer/green salad
Julie ( aka Mrs 1/2 Cup ) prepared every thing for me to take so all I have to do tomorrow morning is some whipped cream for the trifle and do the tomato and onion mixed salad..
That also leaves me with rodent duty for a few days plus I will get in some uninterrupted QST after Christmas day..
Take care and have a great Christmas..![]()

1/2 Cup..... Merry Christmas to you and Mrs 1/2 and all your "critters"
Looking forward to whatever next year may bring . . . .

Steve
Grandmothers will do the darndest things for their Grandkids, won't they.
Also, How did "Braiden" get out of having to bring anything?
And finally - thanks for the chat the other day - set my head in the right direction nicely.
Enjoy your day, and the QST following.
I know I would, if I could get near the workbench, but it's covered with the Christmas decorations boxes . . . .![]()

that is one thing that Julie would never even try..Steve, as you know, insomnia *****.
But it allows me to post up wishes for all to have a few days of introspection and great family time.
Thank you for the support and checking in through the year.
Have a Merry BBQ and Overindulged New Year with family and friends
1/2 Cup,
Just dropping by to say MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Glad to see you getting some drone flight time! Merry Christmas 1/2 Cup!
I'm just making the rounds and wishing the fine folks here on the Garage Journal a very happy and joyous holiday season. And I hope the New Year brings you more of what you seek in this life, and less of what you don't.
I'm looking forward to more updates from everyone here in 2017. YOU are what makes this forum so great, so keep sharing, helping, and supporting each other.
What can I say that hasn't been all ready? New grand babies, a house full of rodent puppies, West Wing open for business and you getting to play doctor with Mrs. 1/2, you have had a fulfilling year.
May your Christmas be peaceful and filled with love and the New Year be a time of rebirth. Some Model A time would be plus.![]()

I trust you had a great Christmas. Here's wishing you a prosperous and productive (monitored against to-do lists) 2017! More rodents! 1/2 excellence!
We are unseasonably warm, 18C right now 9:00AM headed to 22C with thunderstorms. How's that for the end of June?
I keep meaning to send a package...

The closest I do believe you ever get to sitting down and doing nothing.
Even smelling the roses is you being busy.
I expect we will see much more of interest from you in 2017.![]()

hafcup, you better sit down....yep it's me.... been a WHILE eh. Just had to drop in and say Merry Christmas and hope '17 is good to ya. And thanks for continuing to stop in on my "dead thread". I hope to get back here more often as I can see I have a lot of catching up to do.
you refer to is not far away.
