I bought mine at Zoro for $37 in 2014. Still the same price but that was with free shipping. They are stainless steel with chrome magnetic bases. Here's the TIG holder (and link):

Hi, Bob. Happy New Year. Don't know if it's exactly the same tig torch holder, but it's twin is on sale now on Amazon for $17.98.
Ric, looks pretty much the same as Bobs to me..![]()

Of course 1/2 speed is faster than most all of us mortals.
Paving job looks great. Next time you're here I have some areas to clean up.![]()
Only because the other 1/2 of the time Steve spends thinking about how to do it right!
All while the rest of us mess it up at twice the speed.
Wish I had 1/2 the time!![]()

Excelling as usual. Very nicely done.
1/2: great work cleaning up that little space. i know you and Mrs. 1/2 like your plants and flowers, but having a low maintenance yard is nice too. VERY WELL DONE!!
I know you are more than a few KILOS lighter than you were before you had your illness last summer, but sounds like you are making great progress. from the looks of things i agree with everybody that say you are in FULL 1/2 MODE now.
thanks for the kudos about helping a friend with their electrical. last night i drove up to my daughter's house (45 minutes each way) to fix a leaking pipe that i found after changing out their faulty/cheap kitchen faucet last week. a kiss was more than enough of a reward for helping her and her hubby out.
best of luck at the Doctor's at your next visit.

Of course, the one on Amazon comes up for sale the day after I buy the 2nd of 2 MIG holders at HF, much like yours, for about 1/2{heh heh} of what that Amazon one costs after 20% off coupon. Seems to work OK with the TIG and MIG. Got 2 to help contain the 14' hose lead on the TIG. Kinda like a BOGO!

Ric thank you
I picked up a 1/2 yd. of larger sizes in the same Bluestone yesterday to compliment what I have done with the 3/4" for the landscaping in front of the Shed Downunder.

Well I have been told in NO UNCERTAIN terms NOT to unload the tailer unless I get some help and are supervised at all times so I do not over do things.
My reply was I am only doing things by 1/2 s
1/2 a shovel full and 1/2 a barrow load.
That went down real well......................NOT
Its is real hot and humid here today and I am not busting a gut in any case.
Thank you and have a great day..
Steve. Now's the perfect time to ask for that Tommy Gate, Dump trailer, or perhaps a conveyor bed for your truck? In any case we support the warden!
Great idea! Turn this into an opportunity to get new tools and equipment! Or at least rent them for a day. Just not on the very hot and humid days. Hope you have a great weekend and yes, pay attention to the Mrs.
1/2: i bet you are on a first name basis with the crew or owner at the BLUE STONE QUARRY or store you buy all that awesome stone from and if not you sure do come out of there with some great looking product.
yep i agree with Mrs. 1/2 that steady and slow especially since your temps are up around 100 degrees now is a good plan.
hope you enjoy your REAL SATURDAY.
cheers and prayers sent!!

I know right. Amazing.
When Steve stops by for clean up, I’ll run up for a lesson in getr’ done.

Steve, I think this qualifies as a MOE.
Here's to your continued improvement.

Boy isn't it the truth. If Steve lived close to me I wouldn't have had enough material for a thread, he would have just come over and we'd have gotten it cleaned up that day.![]()
1/2: I bet you are enjoying all this shop and yard time not to mention all the cool new tools and supplies. 1/2 OFF for 1/2 CUP has a nice ring to it don't you think?
as you know i'm trying to get ORGANIZED so i've got these cool old metal parts bins that are tan with orange and 100% metal, but I also had these NOS (new old stock) metal ones with plastic dividers and grey and army green seem to my my vintage colors. even though almost nothing really matches in my small garage I do have a lot of grey and green and I do like the new grey ones so i passed on the tan ones to another member.
here's your challenge if you accept? I found some FREE LUMBER advertised and grandson was giving it away for his grandparents that are selling their home while he's selling some of their other items. i needed a few boards for my unistrut shelving and instead of grabbing some out of my new lumber pile i thought having some old growth ones might be nice. well the couple old growth boards were too rotted to keep and the rest of the boards were 1 bys so i asked if he had any tools. (remember i'm TRYING TO GET ORGANIZED). he said maybe so he opened a little shed and I saw an old tool box and a couple German license plates that i said i might be interested in. it wasn't far from my house so i left with nothing while he talked to his grandparents to see if anything or everything was for sale in the shed. he told me they'd sell the plates and anything else, but not the toolbox.
when i returned i took the plates off the wall, put a few tools that were hanging in a little box i found and then started doing the CLEAN OUT. GEESH what does 1/2 CUP do with a pile like this or do you just shake your head and say OMG DRIVES what were you thinking?
I don't expect you to help me ORGANIZE this and just wanted to let you see why I might have FSD.
hope you have enough stuff to fill all those bins and if you don't just stop on by with a couple empty suitcases. would you have kept the old tan/orange ones or the NOS grey ones. it took a little time to swap things over, but i'm liking the grey ones. i like your plastic ones too if i wasn't lucky enough to find these metal ones.
cheers and enjoy your day!!
I end up M.I.A for a few days to come back and see you have been busy. I guess you found the coolest time to do all that work.
Well I had a wet weekend until Sunday. Looks like we had no rain here.
The sea air was good but just a little damp. Home for it to heat up again.
Oh no, you just sent me to Hare & Forbes looking at that mig torch holder - every time I weld I keep muttering to make something to hold the torch.
Cheers GB.

1/2.... Good to hear the tests are looking UP....![]()

Back to work may be just what you need to feel better. The option of 1/2 day will suit you this weather. Now what are the rules for flying that Drone from your home ?

HOTFR8, back to work will be great and I am able to manage it on my terms which suits down to the ground.A nice air conditioned office, early start and get home to beat the heat..
Flying the Drone from my place would see me get a kick up the back side and a hefty fine as it breaks every rule in the book. There are a couple of sport fields that I can use just a few minutes out of town and away from the airport.
Note to file our place is in the direct flight path for a final approach to runway 18
Thank you gentlemen, have a good one..![]()

Your terms sound just like the perfect work conditions. Just checking. Sounds like you know the rules for flying that drone. Now Runway 18 would be Tullamarine ? I wish I knew what flight paths flew over me. Even my Air controller cousin has not told me.![]()
