Damn.........
That's a beast.
Riven, thank you.
It cuts steel ever so nice, I just have to get the vise base milled true.
that came up a treat! love it!
Rudi.
Rudi, thank you
I am really happy with it
1/2 Cup,
Saw and stand look good!
Jon, thank you.
I am glad they are together they both weigh heaps.
1/2 with plenty of QST it looks full on pretty good.
HOTFR8 thank you.
I have been busy over the last few weekends to top it off
Andrew brought me the
# 76 MGF head to evaluate and strip down.
The saw and stand have come up a treat.
Ralf99, thank you.
Another handy bit of equipment..
Steve another classic restoration. Great part about restoring tools is you don't have to build a garage for just one!
Bobby, thank you.
The trouble is I am rapidly running out of room..
Unlike your timber mill..
What a beautiful piece of work!
Andy, thank you.
Still a bit to do, I have some stainless tube that I will be making the in and out feed system out of so that should compliment things nicely.
The stand looks great with it's new looking saw sitting on top. And with good casters I bet its a breeze to roll around. Another 1/2Cup masterpiece.
Since the stand is plenty strong, how about some folding feed rollers that hinge near the top and fold up or down from the sides of the stand as needed.
Bob
Bob, thank you.
Even being so heavy it is a as you say a breeze to push around.
It is also very stable.
Now that's a top idea to have folding rollers as it keeps its foot print in the shed to a minimum.
1/2: amazing restoration of that old beast of a saw. I hope you figure out how to make that part you wanted to upgrade and your out feed tables cause I can see that saw cutting up all the steel for your carport so you don't have to drag all your steel in to work.
VERY WELL DONE!!
if one of your cool benches won't work for an outfeed table or you'd rather not take a chance of damaging them it might be a good excuse to make another bench or maybe just a few stout saw horses.
it wasn't that long ago you brought home that saw but for the guys that can't follow your thread that moves at a pretty good pace I saved the before pictures of your saw.
I also have a couple pretty stout out feed tables that are currently sitting at my shop that i'm not sure i'll be able to keep at my house and too big to store that might give you a couple ideas on how to make yours.
Drives, thank you so much..
I have started on the in and out feed rollers this morning which will be an adjustable fixture on the base.
I do have a couple of steel saw horses and single roller set ups that will help as well.
Your right I has not taken all that long to do
Your tables a most certainly "stout " and thank you for sharing.
What do you intend to do with them??
The roller stand.

Steve, you have to smile every time you walk past that saw.
Bob, I do smile every time I walk past it.
Andrew commented on it this morning
It just makes cutting steel so much easier..
Great news on you health report, 1/2cup! Hope to hear more of the same in the future. As before, please listen to your body. your mind can play nasty tricks on you, lol. That shiny "new" grinder looks great.
Ric, thank you.
I feel that I am improving daily, still I do take things easy and with in my limitations.
Mrs 1/2 Cup even quizzed me on just how the saw and the stand came together.

Block and tackles are a great invention..
I am really pleased with how the grinder came up..
