1/2: when you set your mind on doing something it's GET R DONE mode until it is. WELL DONE!!

the entire corner with the water wheel and the blue stone looks great too.

Drives thank you.
I do tend to be single minded when start a project and there is still a little to do in that corner of the garden but will get there..

WOW! Those look great! Looks just like I hit them with Roundup last week. You won't have to worry about them clogging your pond now. They still look like cat tails to me. We call them bull rushes around here too. We really can't decide what to call them. I guess yours are Bull Rusties.

Thank you Andy
They are as dead as.
FYI Bull Rushes or Cats Tails are also call Cumbungi out this neck of the woods so we will add Bull Rusties to the list.

http://dpipwe.tas.gov.au/invasive-s...x/non-declared-weeds-index/cumbungi-(bullrush)

I like that. Plant you do not have to water and if you do they rust. They do look the part behind the water wheel.

HOTFR8 thank you:thumbup: I think they fit well. That one bonus I don't have to water them.

Awesome job on the yard feature, that looks awesome! Good luck with the health, my thoughts are with you...

Thank you Sean:thumbup:

I have bloods tomorrow and Round 4 of the course of Immunotherapy on Wednesday. I feel ok just a little joint soreness and loss of appetite at the moment which is systematic of the treatment. I thank you again for your thoughts..

Bob

Bob thank you..
I thought we need a bit of height there. They are a good five foot tall.

Thank you one and all, have a good one.

Theodulf all finished now..

Bob, I just tacked the leaves on some stems had one leaf and some had two leaves. Then propped them all in a short piece of 2" pipe then tacked in.

I have to say they were a little hard to handle but I got there.

:lol_hitti:lol_hitti:lol_hitti

Andy I did add a little propagating powder to the root system and I think you will find they really take off now..

The real thing

Very nice work on the rusting and the installation looks great! Much better than a bought one.

I didn't realise Bunnings had sold similar:headscrat and the rust causing issues that's bizarre. :willy_nil
Out of curiosity can you remember how much they were?

Not specifically. Just recall the financial allergic reaction I felt when I saw it. I might share a gene or two with Bob in that regard.

I guess someone put it on a nice patio or something and had the rustwater stain it. :lol_hitti

Sydney's weather for next week is looking good for this time of the year. All the best with you trip..

Thanks Steve. Looks like a balmy week from Wednesday onward. Perfect.

1/2: I bet you feel like a pin cushion at times with all this blood they are taking and all the stuff they are pumping in you and hoping you don't feel too bad. if you feel half as great as the CAT TAILS LOOK you'd be feeling better than me.

keep up the great progress and hope everything they are doing is helping for the long term.

cheers

Drives you are spot on there, I do feel like a pin cushion. My veins are really feeling it but the nurses are really understanding when it comes to taking blood or an infusion canula.

Even with all the possible side effects from the Immunotherapy I think I have gotten away fairly lightly at the moment but that may change as the course of treatment continues.
The real tester will come at my next CT Scan as this will determine just how effective the treatment has been with No4 tomorrow morning.
"Statistically" it should help.

Thank you gentlemen, have a good one.

Drives my Doctors are great to say the least.

All went well at the Immunotherapy this morning however my bloods are showing that the thyroid is just starting to be impacted which is a common side effect of the drug so I am told and there is no need for alarm.

It will take me years to fit it all in that's for sure.

Not a good idea giving your Dad headaches. :(
How about letting him have some (productive) time on the model A :).
Well having said that we all know you both have fun.

HOTFR8 Its all good fun:thumbup:

It looks like I will have to contract out the Model A now as this lot will keep me going for years.

What was that? He sends you nuts or about the 5 engines ? Either way tell him the A model has become priority.

Will do

The A would be more fun.

Agree

No, that is no fun.

HOTFR8 With the hourly rate I am going to charge I will be able to afford contracting out the rest of the restoration:lol_hitti

I have four of those Rover K Series engines in the Shed Downunder at the moment:willy_nil

I hope you do not mind me going back and editing your post as I could see the quote and your posts all lost as one. :)

But there is no fun in contracting out the A as that is or what should be an enjoyable project for you. :)

Andrew: I know every time you bring over an engine, car or project for your dad to help you with he smiles and with all he's going through I bet his MENTAL HEALTH is in good shape and a good reason why he's getting better. keep up the great work and i'd love to find a money tree to start growing in my backyard to afford some of the things you find. got any tips on where to get a start or some seeds for one?

1/2: hope you had a great weekend and maybe you'll get a week off of being a pin cushion so you can recover this week?

cheers and here's the view from my chair I snapped a picture of a few minutes ago and the picture doesn't do the actual sunset justice so maybe you'll get to see in person some day.

prayers sent and hope you still find time to work on your Model A

Drives I did have a pretty quiet weekend just pottering in the shed and working on the Rover K Series engine for the most part which was enjoyable as Mrs 1/2 Cup was away for the weekend it was Quality Shed Time

Spent some time on my cold saw as well I removed the vise base to have it milled square. What I found is that my material that I cut did not sit perpendicular to the blade due to a lot of wear from years of use and as a consequence each cut was ever so slightly off square. Although you could put up with it, it annoyed the heck out of me as it cuts really well.

The week off from getting needles poked in my arms certainly lets them recover a bit.

That is one awesome view and thank you for sharing it ( its on the bucket list for sure )

Thank you once again for your continued prayers and support:bowdown:

I will get there with the Model A:thumbup:

So pleased to see your progress Steve! You have our prayers daily.

I know you'll enjoy the multi-engine rebuild. Not so much when you find out Andrew has a side business selling them...:spit:

Days are getting longer and spring is on it's way. We all will enjoy your photo accounts of the A build.

Andrew, those MGs look really nice. No wonder your dad is so eager to help you with them. If I were in his shoes, I'd be helping too. Of course, I'd want a little seat time every now and then.
