speaking of tasting good this tea tastes great without sugar or any sweetner so maybe you have something similar you can make DOWN UNDER?

I make 3 or 4 gallons every 3 days in old gallon glass pickle jars and usually always have a gallon ready to pour into a frozen mug.

FYI I never used to like RED WINE, but I can tell you there are good red ones and there are the not so good ones and not always determined on price so you might get others opinions and find a few you like cause I bet you'd like them and they probably would be good for you too.

Road Trip? Where, when? I'd love to hang with two of the coolest Aussie gents there is. Oh, wait, I'm broke.

I've done the road trip a couple of times. Twice with a couple of Race teams I am friendly with and once on a bus. The road is very dusty and it is an experience you have to put on the list to do. It is best done as a group of four so you can share the driving etc. as it is in the middle of nowhere.

Me too I could never take to red wine up until I was given a case many years back and it sat I storage until we had a visitor over whom I knew like it so I offered to have on with our meal and I said to my self this is not to bad.

My Immunotherapy No 8 went well this morning.
My Oncologist is extremely happy with my progress as one of the lymph nodes on my neck is actually reducing in size now.
My blood counts were all good except for another issue that has shown up (which is a side effect of the Immunotherapy) that is my Thyroid is acting up which makes sense as I have been feeling a little more fatigued and tired of late, any way that's just another course of tablets to the list. I guess that is what the tests are supposed to do.
The Immunotherapy will continue well into October when I have my next CT Scan. by the looks of things.

I've done the road trip a couple of times. Twice with a couple of Race teams I am friendly with and once on a bus. The road is very dusty and it is an experience you have to put on the list to do. HOTFR8 I certainly would luv to do the trip some day, as you say it would be a great experience. A few guys from here do regularly attend the salt at Lake Gardiner.

xtremek about 10 per day in total which includes Fentanyl patches. For the most part what I am taking it is to counteract the side effects of the Immunotherapy. I am trying to get the balance right and should I not need them I wean myself off them under the doctors advise.

Drives having Cancer is not a real nice spot to be in but there is a lot of others that are in a worse space than me let me tell you.

The prayers and support I have had through out my journey has been just so humbling

All I haven't post much here over the last couple of weeks as you may recall Mrs 1/2 Cup has been busy repaint at first what was only going to be the dining room and lounge but hat has now extended to the front entry and master bedroom. This has meant lots of moving furniture and replacing all the electrical outlets on my part and has kept me busy as well.

All said and done she has done a top job.

Not content at all that she is now embarking on giving the front fence of the West Wing a make over as well.

She surprised me the other day when she came home with a palm sander for herself to help her with the paint prep.

I have more than enough sanders in the Shed Downunder more than capable of doing the job but she had to have one of her own.

I'm never sure how to take it when the wife buys herself tools. It surely makes for a strange world. And I learned early on, don't mess with the wife's tools, go back to the shed and bring your own to the house.

I can already see a mini-container she shed addition writeup. I'll be watching.

But, I was aghast at a misplaced picket at the West Wing. I'm sitting now, trying to recover.

Andy I am still trying to work that out myself.
Mrs 1/2 Cup has only a few tools in the house a screw driver with a PH2 and a flat interchangeable bit, a tape measure and now the palm sander, that does not include her sewing or craft stuff which I dare not touch

It is becoming plainly obvious that my Storage Solution needs to happen sooner rather than later. She has settled on using our third bed room as her craft room which is fair enough. I have already assembled a couple of flat pack cupboards for her and she has purchased a sewing cabinet assembly to compliment her others which I pick up tommorrow.

Drives Mrs 1/2 Cup does well and I would be lost with out her.

The lounge, dining room and front entry foyer are all finished and back in order now and they look a treat.

We are just coming into spring now and having some really top days, I spent a little time pottering in the shed and working in the garden as you do.
Our local swap meet was on but I gave that a miss as It would puff me out too much to get around it all, I should have borrowed my Dads mobility scooter in hind sight.

I am working my full 38 hour week now. I used to do a lot more but that will do for the time being.

I will make sure the picket goes back just right and I will supply the tools

Summer is definitely not far away now. We even had our first rain-free weekend in almost 3 months and almost made it through most of Saturday in shorts and t-shirt. So excited to get into the yard work I nearly needed a mobility scooter on Sunday too.

Good luck with round 9 and hope it goes even better than round 1-8. Hope the warm sunlight and fresh air does its magic too.

Guster the decision has been made, bedroom number two is now the official She Shed.

Round 9 went well, however I do feel fairly tired at work today but if that's all the after effects I get then its a good day.

Thank you Shorty it is a lovely time of year here.

Until my next scan, which may be in October I will not know how many more Immunotherapy infusions I will need and even then I may be put on a maintenance regime for a bit after that.

At the moment it will be a She Room for the time being but that will be a big enough task as it is.

Spring is just an awesome time of the year hear and it feels great. Every thing is in full bloom now and it looks a treat. I have been preparing the gardens over the last few week ends in readiness.

Pack Rat there will come a point where you get there to, there are a lot of new treatment options now and the thinking is to combine both Chemo and Immuno together and working as one.

All I can say is just run with the Chemo, I understand it is not easy dealing with the after effects but hang in there.

I know 1/2 will not mind us sidetracking his topic with your situation.

Good for you. Just know this can be dealt with.

HOTFR8 round 10 in two weeks at the moment and then another CT or PET scan after that to determine where things are at.

My personal indicator is the Lymph node on the right side of my neck, this has shrunken considerably.

I thought of it as reading the prequel and it did not disappoint. I guess you could say I had 1/2 cup done and I wanted to know what was in the other 1/2 cup
