And so you didSo I hit a MAJOR milestone yesterday.

You get to ride a tuber to work. I can send you some old battered stop/slow paddles if you pay for shipping.
That old dumper is sure earning its keep with that load of gravel.
Can you tailgate the gravel with that truck?
My ride to work is about 75'-100' now, but yeah I have a Buell Cyclone. Can't tell from your avatar, what do you ride?
Yeah, I loaded the Girlfriend heavy on that trip. I built that feature into the truck when I redid the box, but I'm not the best at laying it down. My excuse is that I've only done it 2 or 3 times. Is the syrup going any better?
I have 2 99 VFRs. One for work, and one for play. Can't tell from your avatar, what do you ride?
Love the sound of a v4 with a good exhaust.I have 2 99 VFRs. One for work, and one for play.
Both have custom headers, and non-baffle mufflers. Part of owning a VFR. That, and the cam gear whine.Love the sound of a v4 with a good exhaust.

2 brackets and the ram were toast. The ram ended up pretty bent.I don't know how it's possible but I've heard from many people that they are busier in retirement than they were while they were working.
That ***** about your neighbors tractor. Is it just that bracket that is busted? In the one pic it looks like the cylinder is bent too.
looks great how did I miss this I really need to get caught up looks like you have been actually getting some stuff done!So I hit a MAJOR milestone yesterday.
That's right ladies and germs, it's dried in!!!! After 3 1/2 years, Momma's She Shed is pretty much weather tight. Gonna put in some W ties in the trusses, more pressure treated around the bottom, and when the scrap from the SE corner is gone, we'll be able to put the last 3 pieces of trim on. But for all intents and purposes, I'm done with it structurally. On to the paint booth, the carport and electrical upgrade on all 3 out-buildings. So looking forward to getting the place cleaned back up! What a freaking mess.

Syrup? You mean maple syrup? I'm not sure, guys over here seem to be having an on again off again run.
thats okay, if you put me and Jollygreengiant in the same company, I think Im in pretty good company! My bad. I was getting you and Sub mixed up. It's been that kind of spring. My apologies.

Wow, @xtremek, that's gnarly!
OUCH
That hurts just looking at it!
Damn Kirk,
That looks nasty!
Are you ok now?
Yeah, it hurt for a moment or two. But I was up and running the next day, just a lot slower. Learned a lesson on my toe and shoulder fixes, the sooner you return to being active, the better everything heals. That must have stung a little at the time.
Damn Kirk that looks nasty! Hopefully you were up and going pretty quick?
Boy did you nail that one, Prospector. I need to get the heavy lifting done in the next couple of years before I run out of the strength to do this stuff. I tried telling my wife this, but she doesn't get the urgency. The trouble with retirement is that we look forward to doing all the stuff we didn't have time to do, and imagine going at it like we are 25, instead of retirement age with a retirement body. Easy does it. Ask me how I know!
