You're right, machining to me makes me think of things differently. Vieux and Robert (MP&C) make me look at everything from new angles.
It's nice to read

Kirk, I would angle the bottom of the frame and make the frame the width of your row of PVC pipes. I'd bond the PVC pipe together with a bead of clear PVC cement. To hold the matrix of pipes in the frame, screw through a few of the pipes into the frame. I'd drill through the open end of the pipe at an angle and countersink the screw flush in the pipe wall.

Most car guys would pay extra to have a Tesla crate wall instead of boring drywall.
Wow! The Tesla crate material make a great looking wall or wall covering. Maybe thin material but should still be a little more resistant to dings and bumps than drywall, especially in a garage setting. They look great.
You know some people go to the extreme-K just to make things look used and salvaged.

Thanks Sub. It's more like Fart Deco![]()

Must be a Saturn thing. We were up at deer camp last year when my friends kid calls. "Dad, a deer just ran into the side of the car". Busted a big ol hunk out of the same fender as yours.
xtremek you are lucky there wasn't more damage.![]()
They are so dumb about cars too.
About 6 years ago I came around a 35 mph curve and there was an 8 pointer standing on the side of the road.
I got on the binders hard and got down to 10-15. Just when I thought he would stay put, he walks onto the road in front of me.
He got a nice trip across my hood and punted into the ditch on the other side. *******.
Have you ever been so deep in a project you forget what’s going on around you, and the next thing you look up and you can’t see a horizontal surface anywhere? Working on a Christmas gift, and this just “happened” to the shop. I started cleaning up the bench. I hope I can have it mostly cleaned up by the weekend.
