I love the description of the item given in the ad.
yeah, half the 'deals' I get are usually misrepresented and/or misadvertised. Much of it almost seems like the sellers are just running a virtual overstock sale w/o knowing what the hell they're selling & perhaps restocking based on sales.

I bought that back in July for a few bucks more. It's up to $30 now.
I like it a lot. Would consider buying the 50' version if it comes down in price any further.
Wish it were in a different color though, to differentiate them.

Southwire 50' 12/3 USA made (I do not know anything about US Wire - perhaps they are same underlying manufacturer??)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004RH33RE/?tag=atomicindus08-20 $46.16

I have a few of these (50' and 100') and really like them

Just about anything Vessel makes is good:

I ordered another and this will be my 3rd set. I love these.

To be clear, these are made for the USDM's 1/4" drive 7mm shank (instead of the JDM 13mm shank).

Needed a battery for my GSXR 750. Canadian Tire wanted 150.00 for one and 125.00 for one I put the acid in. Decided to give is one on Amazon for 50.99 CDN a try
If its one of those batteries with a vent tube, it will vent liquid acid. At the very least you want a battery that has silica in it so when you add the acid it kind of solidifies.

It says it’s sealed maintenance free and can be installed any position. It had no vent tube. When I stopped at Canadian Tire for a price I knew I was willing to pay 20.00 or 30.00 more for a battery right then and there but since there batteries where 100.00 more, I thought, heck, I’m going to gamble the 52.00 and get this one off Amazon. The CT batteries usually only last 1 to 2 years anyways. I will post once I get it and install it, and then again in a year from now if I remember

A battery tender will probably make it last longer than a year.

Finally tried this $10 label maker from prime day. It’s $18 now and well worth it. Contrary to some comments here the app is free, has lots of fonts, graphics, templates, and a big user community that provides crafty solutions if you like that. Label rolls are in the $0.04- $0.11 range. The labels are ideal for parts bin applications compared to my Brother p-touch Cube-plus that I had been using. Should be handy.

12/3 25ft made in USA Extension cord
The 14ga 25' now on sale $17.43
https://www.amazon.com/Wire-98025-25-Foot-Weather-Extension/dp/B002HWRSAO?tag=atomicindus08-20

These US Wire Extreme cords are my most used 25' extension cords (I generally use 12ga for longer cords).
More flexible in cold weather than any other cord I've had, with the exception of a very old black all rubber cord.
I thought the Prime all rubber cords at Menard's might be like the old one, but they're stiffer.

Also very handy are the 15' 16ga ones at Home Depot. Not on sale, but still the best price I've seen at $13.61

My Amazon special Williams 1/2" ratchet arrived today... Took over a month!

Someone reported theirs looked used or refurb'ed, mine is pristine. I'm sure it's strong as hell, but 36 teeth is, let's just say, quaint? Brings back memories of my long retired circa 1956 Snap-On S80.

Not really sure when I would actually use the new Williams over the S80A or even an Icon G2, but couldn't resist at $26 (now $60)1760849982760.jpeg1760849997313.jpeg1760850008211.jpeg

Complain to Amazon. The product description clearly states "pack of 12".
I paid a little over two bucks for a drill bit. I’m ok with it and probably won’t bother retuning it for a credit. Chalk it up to “ it is what it is”. If it was a big ticket item with $$$ on the line i definitely would be contacting Amazon.

Agree. I have this same cord in SJTW and it is a bit stubborn when coiling up. I prefer SJEOW when/if it is on sale. Snippet from AI search for comparison:

Interesting - I actually found that the insulation on the SouthWire ones is the nicest of all my extension cords
It's thicker but has handled the weather/elements way better
Coiling not a problem but I could be looping them looser than others

Amazon shipped mine protected in just a plastic bag, and it arrived with a few small nicks on the handle.
Also, the USA stamp seems to be printed slightly diagonally, so maybe some of these are factory seconds.

I don't understand all the glowing reviews. Is it because it is made in USA? There is quite a bit of
backdrag, so at the usual cost of around $60, I think a Koken on sale at that price easily blows it away.
I'm sure the failure load is higher though. I'm going to keep it around as a spare, but if this were a
$26 Taiwanese ratchet, I would be disappointed.

In the case of that listing, I would actually prefer to receive one. That's still a really good price, and I don't need to make that many holes. Storing twelve bits that large is kind of a pain. But they really need to fix the listing.
