Channellock 422. Starting to fill in the holes on my v-jaw Channellocks.
^^^^^ Pretty cool Travis! I can't wait to see what you have coming next! Are you working from a particular list or catalog? What I mean is are you trying to get an NOS example of every Channellock tool made during a certain time period or listed in a certain catalog?

Couldn't wait for the new USA made screwdrivers?
Working on my Channellock collection. First pliers I've ever bought.
my small assortment, slowly transitioning most of my main pliers to channellock

Are the nut busters discontinued now?
I hope not. But if it can be confirmed true I will more of each size again.
Yes, they do still make the nutbuster pliers.
Since Craftsman went away from chrome and the smooth / shinny plier type (late 1980's?), I have gone to Channel Lock and a few others including Knipex and Klein. I also have worked to get vintage pliers, etc. as I find them (Cresent, Diamond Horseshoe, etc.)
For Channel Lock brand, I only buy the made in USA ones (the one in the picture from Germany is an inheritance from my late uncle).
After looking through this thread tonight.. I have a new shopping list..!!

When I bought my set of Channellock 209, I intended to use them as oil filter pliers. I didn't realize that they market them as PVC pliers too. I actually caught that by accident today while finishing up some plumbing, fiasco/nightmare. I ended up putting new strainers in the kitchen sink as an end result. I wanted to snug them up and theses came to mind, worked perfectly.
I love how the USA is forged right into the tool..on this one and others like it... Big, bold, beautiful...![]()
