i am wanting to power my bead roller and thought i would see if anyone else on here has done it or had any ideas , or maybe some pics of what you have done.thanks guys.
Motor is a Dayton gear motor pic of tag. The bead roller at my work is 4 rpm. I think is a little fast for my taste. So I went with 2.8 rpm and also has more torque than the 4 rpm motor. Both motors are same type just different specs. They can be had in left or right hand angles. I wired
A switch box to motor with a switch to do forward and reverse and wired a cord on. I bought a sewing machine/ jewelry drill speed control peddle. Just plug bead roller into peddle then into
Wall. Everything I got was from eBay except the steel I used. I have just under $350 in the whole thing. It will put a bead in 16 gauge steel. If I ever felt the need to roll that heavy of gauge steel. I will take some pics of finished roller this weekend.
Garagetime, the coupler on your setup came from ???
