I have flexzilla on a wind up reel. I'm happy with it. Unrolled and rolls up good. A random kink here or there, but nothing compared every other garden hose I have ever used.
I don't like using the heavy 5/8" or 3/4" dia. hoses. They are too heavy to move around the yard and are difficult to wind on your standard hose reel.
Don't laugh - but these higher quality 'expanding hoses' really work
I got tired of winding up the hose or tripping over it in the back yard because the wife left it out. With these expandable ones we just let all the water run, out, they shrink down and we put them in a little pot under the faucet

Anyway, I use these http://www.homedepot.com/p/Continental-ContiTech-Premium-5-8-in-Dia-x-50-ft-Commercial-Grade-Rubber-Black-Water-Hose-20258074/100676339 I've got one the back of the house and two linked together in the front. Drain the water out in the fall and leave em outside all winter and they're fine. Whatever brand it is, rubber hoses are the best IMO.Whatever brand it is, rubber hoses are the best IMO.

I bought a section of Flexzilla a few months ago. So far for the little that I have used it, I like it better than what I had been using.
25 years of yard work, all in AZ. This manufacturer of hoses, reels and fittings are top notch.

Funny this thread popped back up. I had purchased a couple of Cman 50' Premium hoses a few months back but didn't want to replace my POS Costco one until I was through dragging it through the dirt and goat head thorns and my yard was complete. I finally installed my new hoses onto my hose cart about a month ago now, right after I had my sod installed, and I really like it. Doesn't leak and feels like a good quality hose.
I hope to have 20+ years on it like many fellow members do but so far after only a month I would say it is the best hose I have had thus far.

It is Mike, using them for easy 20 years.

I got a Flexzilla at the beginning of summer for one hose reel, not expecting much out of it but i also have a flexzilla air hose and like it. I like it so much i got another one for the front hose reel to replace the perfectly fine hose on there now. The current hose is very stiff so manuvering it around obstacles was a pita, it kinked and twisted easy all the while i rarely have these issue with the flexzilla. Time will tell.
Craftsman
and this is the best nozzle;
