I would also love it if they could just replace the product with an improved version.
That's what I'm hoping for.
Wonder if the epoxy that Justin sells can go on top of the polyurethane?

I haven't really parked hot tires on mine yet, just once and no issues, but I personally don't think it's true heat.
My floor is yellowing under cool wet rubber tires on a garden cart. It's the only real thing that has rubber tires that has been in my garage thus far.

Did not realize that so many other people were having problems with TLPPC. Mine has a couple yellow marks where I parked a small portable generator for a couple days. The floor has a surface film, and in some spots where it has been scratched or something has stuck to it, such as tape or spray foam, the film is coming off the floor. Sometimes little pieces, but in a couple of areas sheets the size of index cards are coming up. I figured I would have to live with it but I hate to see what this floor will look like in ten years.
I have a claim #. Email insurance sent said that they are reviewing coverage and would get back to me. That was a week ago.

Greta told me yesterday that she'd have something by the end of the week....

Last week I was told by Greta that they would have something by the beginning of the week. This has been going on for two months now.
I received an update from Greta this morning. She is still trying to determine their coverage and liability.Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
I don't have a dog in this fight, but I think if it I had purchased the product on my credit card and I was still within 90 days or so of the purchase date, I would be talking to my credit card company about disputing the charge...
Justin seems to be trying to deal with the situation in a responsible manner - but the bottom line is it's your money at stake
Jason - I understand what your saying, but most credit card companies limit the time a consumer can file a dispute to 60 days when it appears on your statement or around 90 days max from the date of purchase.
My opinion....is at the very least - filing the dispute would probably insure a full refund of monies paid. It's great that you're trying to do better than that. But what is the old saying - "cash talks and bullsh*t walks"
I would want my money back now and then we can talk about doing better, reimbursements, etc - but that is just my opinion. I can say that I have seen things like this drag on for far too long and then people end up getting screwed and they have no recourse. My motto is better safe than sorry
Also - I would think that this would tend to light some fires under people to get things done in a timely manner
How is this a disputable charge situation (just out of interest since I have never had to test the boundaries)?
Again, all anyone who wants a refund has to do is ask. We will issue it as a customer service, no problem. I say as a customer service because manufacturers defects are typically handled by the manufacturer. But they have not fixed the issue so we are happy to do what we can.

So what is the manufacturer saying is the issue? Is this something endemic to all the TLPPC out there or was it a specific batch?
Justin,
Do you happen to know how many people are having issues with this product? I'm just curious.
What I am seeing is their original particle size theory does line up with results...It seems I can put the product down over an unremarkable slab with no issue but when it is applied to a well finished slab it is not penetrating.
