What did you buy/order this weekend? I've looked at the sales, and I really didn't see anything that screamed buy me aside from the Harbor Freight six drawer tool cart that I'm on the fence about. :dunno:

I did order a set of the Craftsman V series short metric combination wrenches from ACE that were a measly 15% off.

What say you? Did you order/buy some new or most wanted tools?

Same here.....really didn't see anything tool related good deals, etc. other than the fact I did purchase a Stihl hatchet but only because I thought the original price for it was good enough for me to purchase it.

I was already going to Ace Hardware to pick up some paint I ordered the day before with a 15% off. That morning they sent me a 50% off (max of $15 off) so I picked up a Channellock 430 for $9.50 with the discount while I was there.

I needed the paint. I didn't really need the pliers, but since I was going there and that one fills a gap in my plier collection, I couldn't resist getting it for less than 10 bucks.

$229 Huepar Laser, was on sale, then 17% discount, so $124 on their site.
Tekton SAE wrench set, with roll, $64, on sale for $18, HD. I had the metric, so I grabbed these to match

Bought the HF 6 drawer cart that you mentioned. Feels quality to me. I’m bringing it to work tomorrow. Just it’s heavy so make sure you have at least two people to unload it and set it up. And I bought a Milwaukee Fuel M12 3/8 ratchet as well from the orange store had to order it since the store was out. Was a little angry I didn’t get to do more shopping since I had to work.

Well, I bought the micro Cobra pliers for $30 bucks to carry at work and a yeti rambler with the Klein logo just because. Otherwise, yeah it was kind of a slow year. Was hoping for a discount on the top box for my US General, but no dice...
ETA: I also used the $50 discount zoro was offering to finish my 3/8 sockets in from proto.

Made inner fender dust shields out of old inner tube.
Bet me mine will last longer than the non existent F150 version.
Probably didn’t buy the inner tube.

I bought the Milwaukee M12 drill/impact driver combo ($99) from Home Depot to leave and use at my girlfriend's house. I bought this set for myself years ago during HD's Black Friday sale and now decided her house needed this set also. She uses a drill quite a bit for hobby projects, and she always has trouble tightening drill bits in keyless drill chucks, so I also ordered the 23 pc Milwaukee Shockwave Impact Duty hex drill bit set. Now she can just drop a bit into the impact without having to worry about tightening a chuck.

I bit the bullet. . And began my move into the 21st century. My 19.2v Craftsman batteries are on their way out. So I committed to the DeWalt 20v Max platform.

Started with the deals at Lowe's. Picked up the DCK299D1W1 combo.
- 1/2 drill/hammer hammer drill, impact driver.
a 2 Ah battery, an 8Ah battery, charger and bag for $299.

Got to select a free bare tool with the combo deal. . . Picked the 4-1/2" angle grinder.

Went back later, got the battery combo deal with a free bare tool.
2- 5Ah batteries, charger and bag for $199. Picked the oscillating multitool.

Still slightly bummed my 25+yr old Craftsman drill and impact are getting replaced. I'm fairly certain they were a Bday present from my parents. . 1997? 1995? They earned their keep. But life goes on.

Unfortunately, nothing. Lowe’s doesn’t seem to know how to entice people with sales on Craftsman like Sears once did.

Tractor Supply had Carhartt hoodies on sales, $10 off. Picked up a medium for myself at $39.99 + tax. Pretty good deal for a warm hoodie!

A set of Stahlwille 14/10 KT wrenches and a few of their ratcheting wrenches from Mister Worker.

A couple Knipex pliers/cutters, Stahlwille hook & pick set, and a few of the Wera hex screwdrivers from KC Tool.

Check out battery adapters on Amazon or eBay to run your Cman 19v with your new Dewalt batteries. The adapters work great and are <$20.

Fed, great post idea!!!

I took Tekton up on the double points back and bit on the 3/8” drive 8” flex head 90 tooth ratchet to add to my other Tekton 90 tooth ratchets. Bought an 18mm Masterforce spark plug socket at Menards along with some funnels and a 65-67mm oil filter cap style socket. I’ve been getting more into maintaining my own stuff like mowers and 4 wheelers as we’re paying for our oldest in college. Money has been tighter this year, but I’ve been enjoying learning how to do more myself.

I bought a Veto bag... Was hoping there was going to be some type of sale on Black Friday, so I have held off the past few weeks, but alas, there wasn't.

I also grabbed the Milwaukee screwdriver set from Ace. I didn't know about the 50% off coupon they had else I'd have probably bought something else while there.

i bought a set of diablo jigsaw blades pre black friday, they were the same price

I didnt buy anything else that was on sale besides some mechanics gloves. Instead I bought some poplar board, and some pvc pipe and made a prybar holder after my first attempt with white particle board and cutting it to fit turned out meh.

theres really no good sales like they used to have since online took over by storm years ago

I picked up the M12 3/8" Stubby Impact from Acme the other day for $129. Also snagged a set of Tekton 12 piece 3/8 deep well impact sockets off of Amazon for $30 to go with it. Also snagged one of the Quinn 3/8" digital torque wrenches and a box of rubber gloves at HF. That should pacify me for a couple of weeks :D

Otherwise I really didn't see much out there that impressed me. My own collection is quite small compared to some, but to tell the truth I've got too much stuff to be impressed with the "Milwaukee/DeWalt kit deals" from HD and Lowes that everyone shills on YouTube. Seems to me the companies spend more time trying to lure new people into their platform rather than trying to make good offers to those that are already in it. That's why I hopped on the stubby since I doubt it could be found any cheaper than that.

Walked in to HD on Saturday and they had M12 CP2.0 batteries for $29CAD each (regularly $69). I bought two. Should've bought 3!

Other than that, Canada never has any good sales.

Needed a phone as my current Moto G4 is just shutting down for no apparent reason. Battery always still shows sign of life.
Anyway I am a cheapskate so went with a cheap Chinese mobile phone which seems to have good specs and was £90 cheaper on Black Friday.
It is a Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro. Should do me well as long as it lasts. £249 down to £159

Seems to get good reviews, cons are it is bulky, not very attractive and the camera aint great. None of that bothers me lol

For $99, I picked up the Husky 270 piece mechanics tool set to carry in the motorhome. I know it’s not the greatest quality but it will be OK for the very occasional use it will get. The plastic tool box is perfect for this application, it keeps everything in place and quiet.
