I have a similar set of three, but mine bolt where the removable cutting edge would go.
They work especially well with the float function on our loaders. You'll still get them making "tracks" where its soft, but much better than taking sod/gravel with you when pushing.
Maybe I should get the manual out......what's this float function?
Does your joystick controller "lock" in position when you push the lever all the way "up" to lower the mast? That puts the mast cylinders in a float position where there is no down pressure other than the weight of the loader/bucket and allows it to float up and move with the terrain...great for pushing snow once you have your bucket edge set.
If you don't mind....how much was that blade?
I have a bunch of freud industrial blades (full kerf thick plate ) for my ts. They are relatively inexpensive and work reasonably well.
I figured it would do a "good enough" job for the radial. I will start using my radial more to break down 2x stock since I can use a stop block making it easy to cut repetitively. That way I can save the nicer blade for more precise trim and miters.
I called and talked to Royce CS, guy named Josh. Super nice guy and actually talked me out of buying multiple blades. He said just to use the one I ordered for everything and if it needs sharpening sooner rather than later then I can consider different styles per application at that time. But he believed it would be fine. He said they will gladly sharpen my Forest TS blade too when the time comes. So far I am impressed with this outfit.
