Hello. Here is my garage it is a small attached two car. I enjoy spending time in here detailing, doing some mechanic work, and woodworking.

Update…

As you can tell I have a hard time uploading photos but the new format allows me to do that easier now.

Here is the current situation.

Most recently built this carport and work table because I like to work outside.D0447DE5-9928-4EEF-83CD-712DD26D8129.jpeg4615DFA3-0738-41AE-9CD3-92B77D20DC56.jpeg

Hey Chad Welcome to the group. Love the bike, have a KLR650 that I need to get the carb cleaned....have not ridden the poor thing in almost a year!
What part of the great state do you hail from?

Thanks. I am in Amarillo. My motorcycle is a 1983 xl600R with only 2200 miles on it. I love to ride in New Mexico around the town of red river. Is there any good riding around your part of the world?

Welcome!...From half the state away, Wichita Falls. I have a good friend in Amarillo, working for Haliburton and we go through there two or three times a year.

Bike looks great! I bought my first bike of that same year, an '83 Honda Nighthawk.

Welcome from another Texan. Nice looking space.

Have you used the Griots products before? Can you really tell the difference in quality and shine?

Welcome from the "Great White North". You have a very usable and tidy space there. Looking forward to following your progress as you continue to improve it. (Not that it needs improvement, but you know what I mean!)

PS..I have a "bit" of a Griot's collection myself.

Thanks everyone!

I havent used Griots Garage stuff until today and I am very impressed. I washed and sealed my truck and now it looks great.

I added some shelves I saw on Rick's Double Garage (I hope he doesn't think I am copying him because I kinda am).

Thanks Again for all the comments, keep them coming.

Where did you get the shelving/workbench item [not the wall mounted shelves]

The shelving/workbench is from Lowes instead of stacking them I put them side by side. For the top I bought a piece of pine board also from Lowes it is not the strongest or hardest but it works for my needs.

Nice truck !

I need a toyota decal like that for my wall !

Thanks. I cut the sign out with a jig saw and some left over plywood.

You have a nice truck as well. The paint scheme and work bench in your garage are nice. I wish I would have went the Craftsman route looks good.

More Reviews.

Craftsman Stool is all good. It has a solid heavy base with good casters. The seat is comfortable and looks nice. The only complaint I have is that when you sit on it when it is all the way up it sinks about two inches.

The Harbor Freight 4 Drawer Tool cart is all good too. The slides are spot on and it comes with drawer liners. I use this cart for tapes, glues, screws, nails, extension cords, ratchet straps, and other odds and ends. I particularly got this cart to house my small Husky compressor. It is convenient to be able to have a mobile work station. I can put my miter saw on top and am able to spray off the saw dust with compressed air, or use it when working on the cars.

I like the idea with the "mobile" compressor for light jobs. Do you just have a long extension cord to keep the power hooked up to it?

Garage looks great. Love the simple, minimalistic feel of it. Nice and clean.

Thanks. I try to keep all my **** in the shed and keep the garage clean. I have a long extension cord but since it is mobile I normally just roll it close to an outlet.

Husky Tool Chest is very nice for the price. When I bought this tool box I got it home and it had a dent on the side near the bottom, you can kinda see it in the pic below. I took it back and negotiated a Hundred dollars off so it only cost me two hundred total. This Tool chest is thin walled but still pretty rugged. The slides are very smooth and should last for a long time. Since I got such a good deal I convinced the wife to let me buy the Harbor Freight four drawer cart, it was just meant to be.

I got this vise from my Grandpa a long time ago (like 10 years ago) and just haven't done anything with it. I am thinking about making a removable type mount for my Harbor Freight 4 drawer cart. I don't know much about the vise, it says Japan on the bottom so I don't think it is worth a whole lot.

Welcome to the board from a fellow Texan! I hear your issue with lighting. Be glad you have more than one outlet out there. My garage has one!

@mobilus, I lived in WF from '81 to '08. Small world.

Today was interesting, I got my wisdom teeth pulled, all four. I was super nervous but made it just fine. Since I cant do much I messed around with my photos, not really, I got my wife to because she is a graphic designer, I can barely even upload them.
