The only issue with that is that my wife already thinks I went beyond overboard with outlets and lights. I don't think I would be able to convince her otherwise.
I'm going to look through my leftover Romex this morning. If I have enough already, I may be able to convince her that I just need an outlet and a box. And I can run a dedicated fridge circuit. I just have no idea where we would want to put the fridge...
Went to Lowe's with the wife yesterday morning to pick out all the light fixtures. Apparently, she didn't realize (or didn't care to pay attention to) the scope of the lighting inside when I was showing her my drawings.
When we got back, we spent a lot of time rebuilding our relocated retaining walls, I finished driving that ground rod, and I made all my cuts and glued the conduit going into the main panel. Unfortunately, I hit a snag when I pulled the cover off the panel (which had 5 "spare" breaker knockouts still in place) only to find availability for one single pole breaker. There was an unmarked single pole breaker installed which I eventually figured out was for a water softener that had been installed under the house and we've removed it. So that breaker was just powering the light in the crawlspace which is unnecessary. So I removed that, shifted some things around, and was able to put in the garage breaker. Unfortunately, I ran out of daylight before I could pull the wire. That'll be a project for today.
