Hello Everyone This is my first post here, but I've been a long time lurker. My name is Moses and I live in Los Angeles Here is my Franken compressor. I bought the compressor on Craigslist for $225. turned out a piece of the reed valve had fell into the high pressure side and seized the pump. I was going to rebuild it but thought it would be better to just buy a new one. I settled on a 5hp 3 cylinder single phase pump from Eaton. I mainly do body work and paint.

Now I have a dilemma I was given a Dresser Leroi 400 series compressor with a 30 gallon tank. It was gas driven and the previous owner ran the motor without oil and ruined it. So I'm thinking of replacing the eaton pump with that one, or just buy another motor and keep it at my brothers. It would hardly ever see use there.
What a great idea! A fan. How come I rarely if ever see any others doing this?
