There's not a lot of price points to use as precedence for the larger Blackhawk Quick Disconnect ("Q.D.") era sets, and especially not 3/4-inch square drive. That Q.D. 70-RD set, which is probably late 1920's, early 1930's, originally had 70 pieces in it (Blackhawk put the number of components into their model numbering schemes). Smaller sets, especially the 1/2-inch drive, show up from time to time. I have a few.
Here’s a link to a 32-CD set I tricked out a few years ago. Anyway, looks to be considerably fewer than 70 pieces left, but that box is in great shape, the water-transfer label is very intact and legible, and there're enough of the handles and sockets remaining to make it worthwhile to try to complete. If I was closer, I'd definitely buy it.
Thanks for the link, Jim. I enjoyed looking it over.
