Looks great! The cover on the motor is slick.
Question, do you have the dimensions on the taper pin for the table? I'm currently using a #7 I had in a box of parts, but it's too big.

For a Craftsman 80, you'll want a #6 x 3-1/2" taper pin.
For a Craftsman 100, you'll want a #7 x 4".

So starting round two version 2.0 of the replication of the pulley cover for the 103. I did finish the other one but wasn't completely satisfied with it. So I started over. Found away to make the roll which is coming along. Hope to have it completed this weekend.

That cover is looking great! What did you do on the round corner? Bend and cut on some tubing?

@Outlawmws; thanks brother! The cover is a mixture of 16 gauge steal and trailer fender. I made some bending dies to match the drill press diameters on the front and motor. Bent the base and pounded it out till I got the desired shape and tapper. The top round is where the trailer fender came in. I used the curve in the fender. Cut it out and then just shaped it till I was happy with it. Then just welded it to the base. Hopefully it'll be done this weekend. The hardest part was getting the hinge to work right. But figured it out. Used piano hinge from Lowe's. Cut two relifes in the base. Shaped the bend and welded the hinge in. Looks almost like the original from what I can tell by the pictures you all sent me.. which thank you to everyone for the help. Without the pictures I'd still be guessing.
If a K32 pilot is too small, I think you want a K3 key, but you may want to take some measurements and check this chart:

IIRC from when I did my DP, I saw (somewhere?) a table of Jacobs chucks and the key that fit each ...

ND, I'm confused; doesn't it say "Craftsman" vertically there?
On the front of the main body of the drill press it does say Craftsman like in the picture. But on the mohawk it has this bar on the front which helps keep the molded sheet metal together. I am assuming that's what it does by going off pictures. I've never seen one in person, just in pictures.

I am not sure. I wish I could see one in person. But I be looked all over for one and can't find one so I proceeded to make a replica to the best I could off members photos and measurements they sent me. What I am trying to figure out what model is in this picture? Mine and others don't have the word Craftsman on the body. Just the ball bearing wings. If mine is supposed to have e the word Craftsman then I'll have to have one made. But every 103.0305 I've seen doesn't have it. Any ideas?

Not me I haven't seen one in the flesh. AFAIK, that is the only Catalog they surfaced in, then the US was in WWII and production of that one ceased, or didn't, but was war production...

Mine does NOT have the Craftsman name on the side and no sign of having been there. I can also say that there is nothing under the front trim. The only reason I have to assume the manufacturer is the model number.

I think it's awesome.
I am.most definitely happy with the cover, now. Lol.. I am really picky about my work. Attention to detail. And without all of you sending photos, measurements and knowledge I wouldn't have been able to do it. So huge thanks to everyone. I'll be painting it today so it'll be finished by the end of the day. I'll be using automotive self etching/filler primer then a couple coats of paint them off to bake in the oven for a bit.

The trim is to cover where the sheet metal joins. No sign of Craftsman on the side of mine either, but my guess is that it was an artist rendering that never made it past prototyping that way. The pictures in the '42 and '43 catalog are the same, so they didn't re-draw it for the new year.
And they were actually in two years' worth of catalogs, '42 and '43. But '43 required a special permit to get a motor as it was already into wartime production.
