But are the ones you find on the shelves Made In USA? I think thats what sellers are doing. Hoping to strike gold by reeling in a sucker that wants a USA set? I'd love to have that USA set, but not crazy enough to break the bank for 'em.
Too many other good quality USA made tools out there at much lesser prices to bite on someone's stupidity. I think this guy has been around for a while, if I'm not mistaken he's the same one that was trying to sell a bunch of lots of Craftsman Professional screwdrivers that had been recently been put on clearance for $9 a set (this was 2 years ago before anyone gets excited) and was trying to get $70-80 a set for them.
There again, I've been to a ton of yard sales where you can pick up S-K, Wright, Williams, Proto, etc., for pennies on the dollar, and then they charge a premium for the Craftsman stuff. I literally had one seller ask me why I was loading up on all of this "junk" when he had several nice Craftsman sets for sale. I used it as leverage to get an even better price on all of the "junk" sockets and ratchets.
