I am in the process of painting my floor with standard, everyday Behr garage floor paint.
Though i did acid/prime and tomorow I'm gonna paint it. No time/patience at this time for the epoxy and it sounds like I'll just brutalize epoxy anyway.
More importantly the weather is "Cold" here in Canada this time of year (project just ran too late) and I need the shop. So I'll take the epoxy back. Protect the floor best I can. & Maybe do it all again when it warms up. I'll see how the floor holds up.
As for a design I was thinking silver-gray around the edges about 8 inches wide, then silver-gray for a 2 foot strip, and then just paint the centre silver-gray to keep the pattern consistent.
Before "cheap paint"
.
I'll post an after. you'll love the design!!
