i need a new screwdriver blade for my big snapon flathead screwdriver
No, but I dropped my brand new 1" Stanley Sweetheart wood chisel on my concrete garage floor. As I saw it start to go, I just jammed my foot under it to (successfully) stop the cutting edge from hitting the floor. Didn't even give a damn if I got sliced, but luckily leg/foot and chisel didn't get hurt.

A friend of mine did that same thing, only he was wearing flip flops.
Chisel was fine, but he got a trip to the ER out of it.
You might try using a pry bar next time.
Broke my snapon T30 in 3/8" drive, 15 minutes before the tool truck showed up. No lost time there.
You've got to break yourself of that habit. I've trained myself that when I bumble anything, even a socket I can't get the **** out of the way fast enough. I've seen several people get hurt, some bad enough to end their career by trying to 'save' heavy or awkward parts and assemblies they fumble. I've done it myself in the past but was lucky. You have to train yourself to save nothing or you'll try to save everything.
How'd you manage to do that.
It depends on where you work, if I fumble something it can kill someone if I don't catch it.
Yikes! How high?
BROKEN Tool thread . . . . . and . . . . . . not a single picture yet ??
OP . . . you have no excuse . . . . you started the thread !!

Screwdrivers can break while using them for their intended purpose, believe it or not.
I've never had that happen. I use the correct screwdriver for each screw and use the tool correctly as it was intended to be used.
You da man.
I use screwdrivers in the same manner (correctly) and have still twisted brand new Snap on tips. Either I have the strength of a gorilla or sometimes screwdrivers fail from normal use.
I'd say it's the latter.
