Here's some of mine. I wish I would've done the RAP program when I was younger.
How do you like that new MAC impact?

I have been in the shop I am in now for 2 days and have worked on two CAT loaders, a
CAT 345D excavator, and a CAT paver. We have about 30 Peterbilts on the lot and about 200 pieces of CAT and John Deere equipment (They are a construction and gravel hauling company)

As for questions, I have 3
1) The screwdriver set circled, is that this set here? http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item...roup_ID=682253&store=snapon-store&dir=catalog
Yes it is
2) how often does the cordless screwdriver get used in the industry?
A lot, it is a huge timesaver
3) Do you prefer the Snap On or Matco screwdrivers as I have been looking at both
Every plug broke off and had to be extracted with very little room to work. It actually did not take much time at all to pull the cabWelderguy24, picture of the f150 with cab off you put spark plugs. Any reason why you would pull the cab on that for spark plugs?
When i took this new job i moved back to MN but i do like them both, i love winter. you wouldn't get me to go out west on the oil fields though. Too many losers out there.Welderguy24, nice setup. How do you like ND?
My brother has been driving truck somewhere in ND for about two years now. Tells me he is making a killing, laughing all the way to the bank. Personally, I don't think I could handle the winters up there.
Mike.
Your math is right, turning 24 in a month. And thank you, I take a lot of pride in the things i have worked hard for.******** welderguy if my brain is clicking correctly and you are talking freshman year of highschool in reference to your creeper, thats one hell of a collection for a guy in his mid twenties! Nice set up!
newchris, in your fifth pic, the drawer with all the wrenches, who makes the wrench rack/rail?
When can we expect this new box to arrive?![]()

And to beleive I used to work out of the top and bottom craftsman that's sitting on top of the box! currently the box on top of the snappy is gone. I bought and used a bunch of plastic trays to organize more. Plus the westling socket trays helped big time.
How bout we share a little of what we work on? right now i'm with a construction company that also doubles a dumpster rental service. We got a 2007 international 4300, a 92 cab over mack. not really haha. its never something simple with them. that one the coupler between the engine and pump stripped out. tons of fun 3 hrs from the shop getting it on the trailer

I can only imagine how bad that tank sucked. V417s are a pain being so small

even after the driveshaft, front diff/axle, and enclosed cab, was removed the f'n thing still wouldnt come out of the frame.
ended up pulling the hyd pump off the hydrostat so the tank would slide over far enough to clear the frame.
seriously,
i have never been that p*ssed off at any piece of equipment in 30 years of wrenching.

It is pronounced "versa junk". 417 are technically nice units if you do not have to do anything to them. Drive belts are a joke to change. Larger 638 and 723 they should of drove them off the boat and straight into the crusher.
