Build in progress and realize I want to have some down lighting to light the concrete area in front of garage door. Would come in handy unloading a vehicle at night (dirtbikes, trailer, etc).
I will have a security light under the front porch eave that will shine that direction, and also barn lights over the garage door.
Leaning toward these for under the eaves https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000VEGROS/?tag=atomicindus08-20
And these for barn lights https://www.htm-lighting.com/collec...ouse-shade-with-gooseneck?variant=52003710854
I am not sure these would do the job well enough and that something up in the eave would be needed. Eave in this area is around 30'. I can't decide if a security light like above would be enough (would it be too high?) or a wallpack type light is needed. Whatever I put up there, I don't want to have to scale a ladder to fuss with it more than once or twice in my lifetime. Pad in front of garage is about 25'W x 27'L. I live out in the country, so have no light pollution concerns.
I like the one Jason B used but not 100% sure that's the one for me.
Attached pic shows where security and barn lights will be and where I am thinking of the down light.
