Very nice dubber.

Love the gsw, the mrs wants one but of course we got a tsi in '15 instead of springing for the diesel. Whoops!
Nice wagon and you have a great garage. Went through both of your threads. Got a couple of VW's myself so it nice to see people with similar tastes.

Nice wagonMy Audi A3 TDI buyback is in limbo as the vehicle came from the US. That said, the buyback is 27K US, if it goes through...so the exchange CAD factor is good.
I bought the A3 because it was the 2010 "green car of the year"..and I liked the wagon format combined with decent driving dynamics. The Jetta's extra few inches and all wheel drive would be welcome![]()
Ill be sure to pour one out for my fallen TDI brother.. although the 4 Motion GSW is a sweet replacement..

So where does one find a set of those LED headlights... and do I even want to know how much?
Found these while doing a ton of research. They are a quarter of the price for an OEM set of R LED headlights. Top notch quality and great reputation.
These are the ones i got.

Looks great and nice choice for a daily, Dubber, or should I say "Silverjet"(saw you posted on vortex and realized, "hey, i know that garage!"). I think you will enjoy it a lot, mk7 is a solid platform. Not sure how much you plan to mod it but there are a lot of really cool and functional euro add-on's like LED tails and auto-folding mirrors to name a few.
Ed + BEC are a good company. Got my taillights from him and he was very nice and helpful and even sent me a replacement wire harness for free when I broke mine during install.
Can you remind me again which of the regular garden hose foam guns you liked? I know you have moved on to pressure washer style now, but I remember in one of your threads a discussion about the one you had before the one you have now.. I tried looking yestreday but couldn't find it..
wanting to move up from a bucket and lambswool mitt.. to a bucket, lambswool mitt and foam gun... lol
Thanks!
Yes sir, i'm Silverjet on the Tex. Whats your user?
Do it! So many useful applications. Beyond the cars, its great for washing the windows on your house, and removing bird **** from fences, sidewalks etc and cleaning the driveway.
It has been done! I ended up winning a $100 eBay gift card through a spin-the-wheel contest they had on their site about a month ago, so after doing some research, I settled on the Sun Joe SPX3000:
Haven't had too many opportunities (or time) to really get in and use it yet, but from a quick, preliminary use, I think I'll be very happy with my purchase.
Thanks, again, for the recommendation!
Havn't been on the site for awhile but I'm back now.
Dubber, garage is looking clean and well organized, nice job.
Well over the weekend i tackled something i've been neglecting all summer. The weather seal for the garage door was in desperate need of being replaced.
Did mine last year and the replacement did NOT go on easy. Funny how seemingly simple jobs can be really difficult. Had to use a dish soap and water solution to help it slide down the tracks and even then it was a struggle.

I can imagine how it could have turned ugly quickly. It was funny when i first started to pull out the old piece, after a couple minutes i stopped. Then i said to myself screw this, i need a beer and a knife. Came off "smooth" after those tools were used![]()

Honestly love it. Its been two and a half months thus far. Its funny i have only reached for the keys of the .:R a couple times since
Good to know. I am kinda hoping that I can just get it for me, and let her take my BMW. One can dream.
