What did you all end up doing with the four extra Herbrand 1/4" Breaker bars from the earlier deal?
Gave one to a co-worker, giving one to dad.

Lowest offer he'll auto accept is 60 dollars. We had this last week with metric sets, now he's doing SAE.
It's a great deal, no doubt, not sure what I'll do with a third SK 3/8" Ratchet. I like to keep sets complete. Don't really work on SAE fasteners much. Am I overthinking this?![]()
Haha I feel the same way, I'm really not a fan of SK ratchets. I was thinking if I could give the ratchets to some friends who'd make good use of them, but I don't want to make the set incomplete!

SK ratchets are awesome and have been for a good 60 years or so!!! The course ones are tough as any ratchet can be. The fine ones are really awesome if not quite as tough (but I've never had trouble with any). Not everyone likes the round head vs. little selecter pear head switch but I like round heads fine. The "feel" of using SK just screams US quality to me and I smile every time I use one. Most SK ratchet users either love them for similar to above reasons or hate them as they don't like round heads or want the ultimate in fine movement. But that ultimate fine movement is not as robust as lesser fine movements. Cannot be as the gear engagement teeth are not as robust. So I view it all as a tradeoff. 40 teeth is fine enough for me. - Paul
This is the cheapest I've seen for this particular model,

You know we all are very thrilled of the awesome collection of ratchets you recently acquired
Got mine for $10.50 + $9.97 shipping. "Used" but it was basically mint.

Why does this ratchet head appear this way? Swirl marks

Update on the Felo Torx, I asked the seller for confirmation on whether they had shipped since the tracking number hasn't been updated and he confirms they were shipped out so I'm betting they did use Surepost.
I received my Felo torx screwdrivers yesterday. Exactly as we expected! Absolute steal at 5 bucks.
My tracking status was still at "info received" even after they had been delivered. So its USPS at fault.
Or they don't actually stock them and just bought a shipping label to hold us over until they arrive. A lot of their negative feedback says this.

Stanley professional is a tough one to place. At best it appears to be like blackhawk, so US made of good quality, but with somewhat faint lettering. At worst it is the stuff Stanley got in trouble for making overseas and doing minor stamping and packaging here, then labeling USA. Someone else may know more, that is just what I have observed.

Man, those are really nice. You guys lucked out on a great deal! I was too slow to get to that one! - Paul

You have to be careful, Blackhawk isn't all good. This was from Amazon and these Blackhawk by Proto are made in China of the lowest quality I've ever seen in any tool. The metal is flaking off, chunks fall off when you touch it.
Paul, I was too reluctant to get that one![]()
- PaulI have a Husky ratchet that looks identical to this marked USA. I also have Stanley and Husky 3/8" drive sockets that look identical to these I bought back in college around 2009. Interestingly enough, the sockets aren't stamped USA and the package says made in China.Stanley Professional?
