For those who submitted questions about the 3/28 code, are you submitting them on eBay's site to eBay themselves, or PayPal? It keeps wanting to direct me to PayPal.

i actually didnt submit a question, i tried to use the code, and it failed. i assume they went through the error logs, found all the code failures, and just emailed the apology to those accounts.

i will give them points for that . . . . i consider it beyond what i expected, i thought about questioning it, but it seemed like too much work at the time.

There is what appears to be an early snap on KR65, that has been restored, on ebay for $50+25=75 shipped. Despite the non-original conidtion, it is probably a good deal.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Snap-on-Box/322478279426

Please note that the latch and lock are after market and the box appears to be re-painted.

Yep same here. I got an error when trying to use it. I too receive the courtesy coupon, and have use it. Luckily I have not purchase that tie rod set for my car, so I still get the $15 off. Kudos to eBay!:rocker:

A machine shop in Addison, Illinois appears to be liquidating an inventory of large machines gears:

Nine spur gears, 8 pitch, 24T through 32T, 1 1/4" wide face, 14.5-degree pressure angle, for $60 shipped.

Ordering all nine of these sizes from Amazon (made by Boston Gear or Martin) would cost hundreds of dollars. There are a couple dozen lots like this, with a range of gears of the same pitch (tooth size) and general geometry, but different sizes. Some I believe are bronze, which seems pretty nuts, you could practically grind off the teeth and make them into hammers and come out ahead they're so cheap.

I saw this and started putting stuff in my cart, then I had to help my neighbor for a minute, which turned into a few hours... So I missed out... Probably for the better... :(

I saved $75 instead of only $25...

cripe distributing (great seller) seems to have a bunch of gedore stuff on sale. dont know if the prices are great or not, since this is not my thang, although a bunch of people around here seem to love them:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_odk....TRC2.A0.H0.Xgedore.TRS0&_nkw=gedore&_sacat=0

note that if you are buying a bunch of things, you can put them in a cart, and ask them to quote shipping, since they will discount it for multiple items. they also have a bunch of stuff on their web page: http://www.cripedistributing.com

if you buy from there (and have an account, so that the cart persists), put what you want in a cart, and hit the "questions" button at the top, and list the stuff you want from ebay that isn't on their web site, and they will add them to your cart, and quote you shipping. i have done this several times.

great people to deal with.

Yea the Gedore sales via Cripe have been going on for a while. Some of them are older model items. (older style grips etc). Still perfectly useable tools.

I have never seen this on Cripe before, but looks like a smoking deal if

A) you have 3ph power

B) know how to wire up a VFD

8" Palmgren 230/330v 3/4hp Grinder w/ dust collection- made in Taiwan - $180 shipped

VFD's up to 1hp are pretty cheap now a days. I'm running a 1.5hp 3 phase 10" Powermatic Grinder off a 1hp Teco VFD. You can set the ramp up time so as long as you don't try to spin it up all at once the VFD seems ok with it. Amp wise it feel in line with the VFD ratings.

Seems cheaper from this site and still from cripe.

Looking at other sites you can find that grinder for not to much more.

Yost 750-DI vise on sale for $168.70 with free shipping. I've been watching for a deal on these for a while and haven't seen it this low before. It's not a Wilton or similar or USA I believe, but it is very stout and made with ductile iron, and gets good reviews.

Also, only 100 available at this price.

Not a deal from Ebay, but I just bought some stuff on the Sortimo store:
http://www.sortimo-shop.us
They have a Promo 10% off entire purchase

Not that it would be hard to get to with their prices, but the minimum purchase price is $500. Great looking stuff. well reviewed on ToolGuyd

You should create a new thread for proper attention. At one point in time I would have missed your post, as I never browsed this thread. Your deal pertains to different seller than this thread is for, & isn't an auction.

Vermont American Hook and Pick Set 50462
$6 shipped and made in USA
I just received them yesterday and was amazed with their quality and finish. I have similar set from HF for couple bucks. They work, but ones from ebay are so nice.

Several months ago I bought a set of these on the strength of this review. I've been consistently VERY happy with them. They're still $6, or you can get 10 for $33, and honestly I'm very tempted to buy ten. Give half away and keep half for myself for when these ones wear out or get lost. It seems like they're not being made anymore.

I picked those up awhile ago after I finally retired my HF set. These are great quality for the price. Haven't had any type of issues with handles slipping or metal wear or bends yet.

Toolup is running a sale on the 2217-20 milwaukee multimeter on their ebay account.

Everywhere else it seems $159 is the going rate but i just purchased one and the "add to cart to see price" price was $129

been needing a new multimeter to ride in the pickup and these appear to have really good reviews, plus will match all my other milwaukee tools.
