I'm hoping I can afford A/C in my new shop plans, screw working outside. Did that for too many years.
It's funny you mention that Craig, I was just given a 30' I beam with a trolly today, I'll have to figure out how to best use it,
John, it's more like you can't afford NOT to have A/C in your Florida shop. OK, maybe not my kids or grandkids but us retirees don't do well working in a solar-fired oven.I'm hoping I can afford A/C in my new shop plans, screw working outside. Did that for too many years.
My plan is to have bikini clad models follow me around with fans.
And serving ice cold beverages of choice.

Where should I submit my application? If I bring my own tools do I have a better shot at getting the job?

He may need a picture of you in a bikini to decide.![]()
No one else wants that either.I'll pass on the application, even if I get the job I wouldn't want to see other people that look like me in a bikini.

, can I get an Amen. I spent the afternoon building a crate and getting the parts inventory all packed up and ready to ship put tomorrow.

I'm more curious how you determined the size of the box then just barely got everything packed.

That is pure genius.![]()
You should like the high bay lights. I have 8 and think they light the shop up nicely. l
To RMACK, I just stumbled on your thread this afternoon.
Robert Burns definitively got it right about the futility of making plans.
I wish you well in your new situation.

Mack, nice job on making and packing up that crate. Just enough room for a handful of packing peanuts.

Falling off a ladder and breaking a heel is what prompted me to finally buy a manlift. I wish I would have bought it MUCH sooner, however... it would have avoided the broken bone AND saved a ton of work going up and down ladders. You won't regret getting a functioning one. (I added "functioning" for Shorty's sake, LOL)My shop lights show up tomorrow and Laura does not want me on any more ladders. I was looking on marketplace and found a scissor lift at a price I can afford so I'm going to take a look at it after work tomorrow. If all goes well I might have lights in the shop this weekend.

I was wondering if you got your lights installed.
