Great value and they work. No sense in paying more for a name.

Those step drills are one of the best deals around, but I disagree about the SDS drill. Brand name drills have a safety clutch that disengages the drive if the bit jams, rather than breaking your wrists. I'll stick with Bosch (or equivalent).

T-Post puller. Being a farmer, I use it a lot, and it sure makes my life easier. I've had it for at least 10 years, and it still works great.

Im partial to the T handle hex key set (the one with both metric and sae)
They look like cheap piles of **** but I have used them rather hard removing set screws on pulleys that have been outside for 20 years and have yet to snap one!

also on my favorites list is the 1/2" breaker bar and the 10 packs of small drill bits.

My favorite thing I get Harbor Freight is the receipt. It permits me to take back completely unless tools (e.g., the the bandsaw I bought that had a seized bearing AND the replacement one that had a cracked pulley, chipped motor fins, and busted tensioner adjustment) and get all of my money back.

Don't mistake accurate with precision. If I'm making a switch panel using toggle switches and also need to drill holes for mounting screws in the same pane, or there are different barrel diameters on multiple switches....I can drill all of them with the same bit. When you need one they're the cat's meow.

Motorcycle Lift - makes wrenching a pleasure vs climbing under the bike all the time.

I like the little yellow 12V air compressors that can be had for $6 with coupon usually. I keep them in all my cars. A lot of gas stations do not have air compressors anymore. You can also use them for blowing up basketballs and air mattresses. If you grab a 99 cent air nozzle at HF, you can also use it in combination with the air compressor to blow out your computers instead of pricey compressed air. And compressed air cans sometimes spray out liquid propellent which can short our your PC components.

Favorite Harbor Freight Tool, bar none:

The Electronic Fly Swatter.

Absolutely essential equipment in any garage that has hover fly's hovering around to escape the outside winds. There is nothing quite more satisfying than playing tennis with those flys, and hearing that SNAP! and seeing the smoke from one of those pests being cooked. Black handle, yellow tennis racket looking thing, $2.79 right now with coupon, $3.99 on sale, $7.99 regular price. Not much else Harbor Freight is good for, but this fly swatter rocks! It works too!

How high will that drywall lift reach? I've got 15' celings in my shop and I'm going to need somthing to help me get the sheetrock up there.

Thanks
Wes

Only 11 feet. You can get extensions on amazon. With a 20% coupon you would be right about $200 total if you also bought an extension.

by far the most used best bang for the buck are the $10 right angle air grinders. I have yet to burn one up. I have 6 of them so I don't have to change attachments.

Not sure if it's my "favorite", and I don't own many HF tools (but starting to come around for some things) but I have to second the electronic "tennis racquet" flyswatter.

My father in law always picks up little *inexpensive* (or cheap; but there is a distinction) things that end up being gifts for me. I thought this flyswatter was going to be a piece of junk, but damn, if it doesn't do exactly what it's supposed to. I agree on the SNAP when you get one - very satisfying.

Also would have to agree on the little multimeter. It was one of those things that I never got around to buying, because I always research the heck out of things and end up buying something way beyond what I need. Since this was a Christmas present from my father in law, it got filed into the same mental bin as the flyswatter, until the first time I needed one, and remembered he got me it. Used it many times since, with no complaints.

90amp flux core welder my Brother-in -law gave me.
I have a 14-17 year old Torque wrench 1/2 inch that I use.
