I haven’t posted much recently but I have been busy. I completed all of the wiring for the mezzanine and the man cave. Then I finished insulating the man cave. I didn’t get a picture of the work area fully illuminated Maybe I will remember to get a picture tomorrow.

Thanks Kev! I hadn’t thought about pictures upstairs. Not much to see now that it’s almost full. I will try to remember to get some pictures this weekend.

You are correct Chris, lots of room left. But I still have more stuff to move into that space. What’s up there now is just what I had sitting on pallets already inside the building.

I took a little time away from the shop work today to play with my truck project. There’s nothing like adding a little bling to rev up your engine on a project.

Today I continued what I started three weeks ago. Progress has slowed tremendously. I am so close to having the ceiling finished. At least all of the full sheets are up. There is going to be a bit of touch up needed but overall I am pleased with the results.

Well that took longer than expected. My new job is interfering with my progress on the shop. But the ceiling is done and now I can start the walls. Some of the touch up spots are still drying in this picture.

Thanks Brent. I will be using T-111 on two walls and a combination of T-111 and wainscoting on the other two walls.

I worked 13 hours yesterday removing trees from houses, so my weekend was shot. Today I took a break from working on the shop to get some smaller projects done and pick up limbs in my own yard. One of those smaller projects is installing stock rims with smaller tires on Samson.

I was able to get back to working on the shop this weekend. The wainscoting is complete on two walls. Hopefully the T-111 will go as quickly when the opportunity is there.

I stand corrected. I ALMOST had a 55 Chev big back window truck as my first truck, but we couldn't get the guy to sell it. I don't remember all the details on those as i ended up in a Ford Fairlane and went down that road instead. I still have a very soft spot for the 55-57 Trucks and 66-67 Chevy 2 hardtops.
