Nice find CNG, especially since it's so far away from you. Good price for a NOS Yost 32C vise and looks like he has two of those vises.

Baldor Grinder with lighted eye guards - $120 (North Hollywood/Van nuys)

Looks like it's a 1/3-1/2 HP but it's an older one so the motor is probably heavily underrated plus it has nice tool rest's and the lighted lamp guards which usually sells for a lot ($65-$150), they need light sockets but that's easy. It's not a steal but it's a nice grinder that looks complete and I would bet you could get the price down.

I don't know how much of a deal this is:

Mac 1210 tool chest 50 inch long - $900 (londonderry NH)
I will take paypal Mac tool chest # 1210 . 50 -1/2 inches long 24 deep x 22-1/2 tall . Built like a tank . USA aseembled and USA heavy gauge steel . Draws are slides and work smooth and are in excellent condition .Only one tiny ding on chest ,NO dents very minimal surface rust . No key but top draws lock with a lever in side the cover for trans port. Handles that you see missing I have them . Not the cheep *** new high end Boxes with international paper thin steel .Why pay thousands for that junk when you can have this real man's chest. They built there name on these chest not the new boxes .

No, The reason why I'm saying that is that in Pic #2 the jaws don't look like they're lining up well and appears to have a small gap in the left side. Telling me that jaws are worn out or worse, one side of the slides is worn.

Jaws are quite expensive to replace for Wiltons and you can't fix a worn slide.

This vise is a current model, made in Asia and the slide is not machined. These sell new for $150.

Definitely pass on this one. Keep looking!

Older junked up vises can still be great vises but the biggest fundamental of a good vises is that the jaws close tightly and parallel to each other and it doesn't have bad backlash.

I inquired about a box last week with the person responding that they can't send pictures via their phone and need my email. The box was absurdly cheap and the phone number was out of state... Hmmm

Besides, It's still overpriced. I would recommend to stop drinking the coolaid and start looking for one of these. The drawers are twice as strong, it's bigger and the drawers slide way better.

Heavy duty vise bench - $100 (Monterey park)

This may not be the most smoking deal but I think it's a Columbian 206 vise for $100.

If it is a 206, it weighs about 160 lbs.; That's about .62 cents a pound which is about as good as it gets now a days since the price of vises have steadily been going up. These retail new for a crazy $1,600.

The pipe jaws look like there still intact as well.

I have a used single spindle automatic lathe or screw machine. It runs and cycles very well. The only problem that I'm aware of is that the chuck is sticking. It has a 7.5 HP main drive motor and a 1.5 hydraulic motor. Both are 3 phase. I do have it powered up if you want to see it cycle. It does not have the bar feeder. However, it does have several parts to the bar feeder. $300 OBO. I would like to see it go to some one who could use it. However, some one could purchase it for scrap.

Looks like quite the tank at least. It's single cylinder I think. I wonder how bad shape it is in mechanically. From all the mounting holes on the tank cover I'd think this used to have a different motor / compressor on it and somebody switched it out.

Powermatic model 90 12" Variable speed lathe - $200 (Alta Loma)

These are really nice wood lathes and if the varaible speed is working well, the bearings are good and the tail stock works correctly then this is a great deal for someone in LA for $200. It won't last long.

"You'll need to clean, assemble, add a few bolts, handwheel and handles, but for the most part, the lathe is complete, but cruddy. Comes with a 1 hp motor, starter, face plate and tool rest. "
