Awesome display Eric.
We went by the museum in Quantico last year coming back from an out of state funeral off I95, IIRC. I told the wife, we will be going there one day.I'd love to visit the Marine Corps Museum in VA near Quantico.
Have plans to see the Air Force Museum in OH this fall while attending a nephew's wedding.
Thanks Mike.Awesome display Eric.
Thanks Mike.
Believe it or not, looking at that picture thinking about those brothers gives me goosebumps.
Middle one is a GCM, Good Conduct Medal. Don't do anything stupid for 3 years and everybody gets one. Last one looks like an Expeditionary and first one possibly Navy unit citation.I'm a little curious about the recruiting poster, as a Sgt. I would have expected more ribbons, one appears to be a bronze star, though he is an expert marksman so I wouldn't dream of saying that to his face or from 400 yards away.
The Iwo Jima picture is a stark reminder of those brave men in a tough battle we all should appreciate.

No, I didn't but it is a thought.Have you thought about framing the image and hanging in the shop?

I built the house garage in 2004. So it have about 21 years of use.Eric
How long ago did you build the garage with the rusted out door rails?
Can you place a piece of composite material in the gap to prevent critter in filtration?
Are the shop doors touching the concrete also?
Back on March 1st I order a 45" Channellock prybar and it was due out in about week-10 days. That date got moved out with no expected due date. I attempted to cancel at the end of March and was unable to cancel. About 3 days later, still no delivery date and still couldn't cancel it. I did an online chat with an Amazon rep, finally got it cancelled and ordered through HD.I must say, those new springs have way more tension than the old one I took off.
I tried to use a rope and pull the spring up, which didn't work. A pry bar then a larger pry bar that worked after some blocking for leverage.
You can see the old spring compared to the new spring in place.
Since my longest pry bar is only about 25" long, I decided it was time to get a longer one. On order is a 45" Channellock version. It should be here in a week or so.

I was looking through pictures on one of the PCs at the fire station one day. I came across pictures from a MVA where a red Mach 1 (2003) went off the road and up the embankment in front of some houses. As I looked at the picture, I thought man, wouldn't that have been awesome if it was an uninsured car still sitting in the impound yard on one of the local wrecker guys.Eric, when I was working in Alliance, NE, the dealer had a Mach 1 in that color(on your poster) with a dealer installed Ford Performance supercharger setup. It was very hard not to trade my newly acquired (at the time) F150 for it.
Now that the wife has a red one, I guess I got that itch scratched.
With the engine out, now is the time to do the work and install a big bore kit and/or turbo...

Sorry to hear that it didn't work out. I see all kinds of sanders on Facebook Market Place all the time like that for under $100! So just keep an eye out for it on there. And of course Craigslist. Could you also just find another 3/4 HP motor to put on that one?

Looks like HGR!I found this last night, for sale at a liquidator

Yeah, I thought so.. this is going to live a dedicated metal fab life. I'd like like to fasten it to the Cman mobile base. That's a steal for $200, good buy will come in handy for all your projects
Thanks Larry. Wife asked me yesterday on the way home if it was worth the drive back... yes was my answer. It's about hour and 45 minutes one way.The suckage is strong with this one!
