Gladiator Wall cabinet on clearance at lowes

These were just marked down for clearance. I picked up all 4 that my local Lowe's had. They are usually $118 and marked down to $29.50. I already have 3 other gladiator cabinets. Thought I'd pass on the info to all.

I ran down to my local Lowe's after calling the dept where they're kept - guy told me had 4 in stock so I asked him to hold them....he put them on a cart & put it in the flooring dept with my name on it....when I got there there 15 minutes later, were only 2 on the cart! The young girl working in that area said somebody had just asked her about them & she said she didn't know & for him just to take what he wanted!

Boy, was I pissed....got the store manager & the guy who had put them on the cart confirmed everything I said...manager asked the guy if they had any more - guy said the inventory only showed 4; but the manager told him to go check the warehouse - there were 2 more on the shelf (so, the inventory was wrong?) so I ended up with 4.

The manager asked me if I needed more & I told him how many more I was going to try to find tomorrow....he checked in the surrounding stores & asked the next nearest store manager to put a manager's hold on that number for me until I could get there tomorrow am.
I walked out with 4 for $127.44 including tax....that's less than 1 cabinet would normally cost with tax!!

Thanks a bunch !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just got back from Kingsport Tn Lowes (East Store), got all 5 that they had left. The Lowes on the West End, had several, but she said that not all stores had the clearance. Their price was still $118, doesn't make sense to me, but I made it before they closed..... turning out most of the lights when I walked thru the door. Again thanks, I really enjoy this site.

Every store near me showed none in stock on the web page. The first store I called which happenned to be only a few miles from me had 16 in stock.

I would suggest calling your local store, talk to the operator and ask them to check availability of item #29844.

They are "non-stock" items so they will not show up on the on-line inventory.

jshillin, Thanks for the tip, just bought 8 this morning. Our Lowes didn't have them marked, had to ask to look up in computer and they came up "clearance". Guys make sure you ask if their not marked down.

Thanks for the heads up. Called the local store and they had 17 in stock at $29.50 each. Got there and they were still marked at $118 on the floor. Grabbed 7 of them. Not sure where I will put them for now but when I get out of the Navy and build the next house/garage they will definitely come in handy. Hopefully they mark down some other pieces soon.

Oh yea!!!!!!!! Major score. Coming home this morning, stopped at Lowes, got 8 and the display. Went to the other Lowes south of me and scored another 9. Now I can get rid of the wood cabinets I had in both garages and get these up. The guys at Lowes couldn't believe the prices that they were marked down to. Pics to come shortly.

I did some measuring, figured I could find room for 3 of these, to add to my existing Gladiator cabinets. I need the storage space. I headed to Lowes and they had at least 5 of them. All marked at the clearance price.

I so wish they stocked the Gladiator workbenches. Could you imagine 75% off of those. Talk about a screaming deal. I would have room for AT LEAST 4 of the 8 footers.

Sounds like you guys had more luck than me. Went to the closest one and they were marked down but completely out. While out with wife went to another store. They had 4 but marked 118 went to the register and they came up 118. Called over the manager, he checked the computer and they were 118. Explained the other store had them marked down, He says they are a different district, his are 118. Told him where he could store them....

Thanks for the tip. I was at my local Lowe's at opening this morning. They had the cabinets at $118. I asked them to look them up and they came up at $118. I left, came home, and got to thinking that there was a new Lowe's about 20 miles from me. I drove down there and they were marked down but only had one. I told the cashier that I could use more and my local store had 'em at full price. She said for me to take my receipt to them and they should match the price. I did and they did. I picked up seven more there. If anyone is in the Bowling Green, KY area, they show six left as of noon today. I don't know if they'd lower the price without a receipt from another store though.
I wish they'd clearance the other items out also. I almost never get a bargain but I lucked out this time!
