You should be able to do betterRecently signed up for HF emails...and just got an in store only coupon for 10% off 'any tool'...
From what I've seen, it's 10% off and 20% off ITCI anticipate Memorial Day coupons, but we'll see how much the discounts are and what restrictions there will be.
Hopefully at least a general purpose 20%-25% off w/ non-restrictions sounds reasonable, given past coupons.
I think I have seen these 20% coupons run every two months roughly for ITC members only.…….. "IF" you are considering buying a big dollar item it may be worth joining the ITC this weekend to get the discount. How often do they run the no-exclusions 20% coupons? And, are they predictable (like, typically run on specific holidays)?

Totally worth the membership and the CC and I'm not a CC user.
40% off Icon wrenches at the parking lot sale.
Harbor Freight opened a store a few miles away so there's that![]()
honestly you should compare the coupons available to non ITC peeps.I picked up the USA Icon punch and chisel set with the coupon. Almost everything I buy at HF is on sale or I use a coupon.
I was able to save $100 on my box back in March. The ITC has paid for itself with everything I've picked up since joining.

This 20% deal is Horror Freights way to sell a ITC membership……… Marketing that works!
I was there today to pick up a spanner wrench for my hand grinder and use a friend's account by giving them his telephone number. I got 20% off of $6.99. It's no big deal, and I don't usually buy much at HF. They had so many empty hooks that it looked like they were having a going-out-of-business sale. I guess the tariffs are going to take a bite out of their sales, and people are buying today at the lower prices.

Maybe NOW is the time to buy a ITC membership.
The best deal on ITC is to buy it at the store. They don't advertise it any more but I'm pretty sure you can still get 2 years for $44.99. You have to ask for it at the register. It was still valid in Nov 2024 when I renewed mine.Maybe NOW is the time to buy a ITC membership.
Yes, it was the same in Feb. when I got mines. The best deal on ITC is to buy it at the store. They don't advertise it any more but I'm pretty sure you can still get 2 years for $44.99. You have to ask for it at the register. It was still valid in Nov 2024 when I renewed mine.
I can confirm the 20% off (member) worked on the 15" side cabinet. Is one of the 15" end cabinet toolboxes considered "large storage"? I'd like to add one to my US General cabinet, but really don't want to wait until I'm at the register to find out it isn't included.

- Thing is well made, but doesn't compliment my other US General box, looks different.
- It's a little taller than the big box, so there's nothing to bolt them together, just hanging on the flange.
- I didn't like the drawer latches- stiff plastic that takes so much left-side-force to release it jams the drawer to the left and makes it hard to open. Easy to slide them out and toss into the recycle though.
- Came with FOUR keys, which match the keys on the big box.
- Came with drawer liners
Ez to drill two small holes in the bottom to mate the different gen HF boxes- It's a little taller than the big box, so there's nothing to bolt them together, just hanging on the flange
It's the 26", ran me $700 in 2011 for the top and roller cabinet, and I sold off the roller cabinet to get the US General when I ran out of room. I really like the Montezuma top box though, everything is easy to see and get to.That looks like a Series 2 42" box. The boxes and cabinets are all Series 3 now. That's why it doesn't match up. I also took out the drawer slides on my Series 3 box.
Nice Montezuma box. What brand are those magnetic panels on the top lid? Is that the 26" or 30" version?
I removed the bottom drawers in both and the flanges don't align - that place where the sheet metal is double thick. So the only thing to drill through are the single-thick side panels. Even that was sketch, because the open space on one box is where the slides are on the other.Ez to drill two small holes in the bottom to mate the different gen HF boxes
