any chance for a $250 coupon for the top chest that matches the 44" 13 drawer bottom roller?

http://www.harborfreight.com/hand-to...est-68787.html

That would have to come from a magazine if it's still around, but my guess is the current best price you will see on the top is $299. One of the district managers is frequently at the store I go to because they can't keep a store manager, and I asked him about it all when they started getting the new boxes in. He's pretty sure they won't drop below the magazine coupons I posted very often, if at all anymore.

bottom 349 (definitely wont ever see $280 again, probably wont see much lower)
top 299 (might see 279 on a holiday sale)
side 199 (probably wont go below this)

Thanks, yeah I know the $250 was an inside track club price last winter or around that time. I think I am ready to buy now. I wish I was ready last year. Oh well.

I think I will ****** up the bottom for $349 because I too believe that's the final time at that price.

the coupon is definitely from a magazine...

i wouldn't really put much weight on the words of a district manager or anyone working on the retail side of the business. only corporate would really know what pricing is going to be like, and even that can't predict the future. freight costs are always higher during the summers so for heavy items like this i would wait until the winter for better deals; that's typically when you see these things go on sale.

I've had that black one for over a year with zero trouble. Paid $99 at the parking lot sale last summer. The better thing about the red version of the black one is the extra drawer/s.

As for the 2 shelf cart I will be getting one latter this summer.

PS I seen the black one for $119 in Vegas couple of weeks ago. Not sure if it was a coupon sale or their parking lot deal. I don't think you'll see $99 anymore.

The red one is made from heavier gauge steel, has positive latches on the drawers, has gas strut lift arms on the top, one more drawer, better drawer slides, far better casters, and has a bolt on spray can shelf. I think it was $30 more when I bought mine. No brainer unless your budget is very strict.

Check the pic again. He didn't ask about the 5 drawer red cart. He asked about the 1 drawer red cart.

I saw the pic. Check skulldrinker's quote again. I was responding his comment on "The red version of the black one" ie the 5 drawer red cart.

I agree with Moose; if you're buying a HF service cart, get the red 5 drawer cart for $159. It's beefier, and you will definitely bang the cart into something (or something will bang into the cart) a few times here and there. Its drawers are laid out in a more useful way so you can keep stuff off the top except what you're actually working with.

It's not much bigger (maybe 2-4" taller) than the black, and both of course are a bit bigger than the red in the pic. but it's more worth the money.

I bought one last week. I've run it for two hours for break-in so far and it's worked fine. Started easy. Unlike the little 800 Watt genny, it doesn't have an idle control so it runs full-speed all the time, load or no load. And no way is the sound level "70 dB". Not screaming loud, but not that quiet.

Good thing I bought it when I did, storms that rolled through Maryland Friday night knocked out power to 2 million homes! All the HF's and big box hardware stores were cleaned out of generators right as I was listing my 800 Watt for sale. I sold it for $20 more than I paid for it two years ago! :D

thats my guess. Once its locked into the studs (it was hanging on a metal rack at my store) it stiffens it up quite a bit. So yeah if someone has a killer coupon for that it be really helpful

I love my Cab! http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=153172Find one anywhere else around this pice point, I dare ya lol. I beefed up the mounting and the nex thing I am going to do is switch out the locks with knobs somehow and also reinforce the doors so they feel heavier.

Buy this Item!
