If you have the number and want to make a barcode go to:
http://www.barcoding.com/upc/#.UxHXJ7eYYc4
Set it for Code 39 & jpg and enter the number.
Before pasting into a HF coupon you may have to reduce it and crop the height some.
(Open in a new window to see how clearly it creates the barcode)
From what I can figure the barcode scans the item, expiration date, and discount into the register. The clerks just scan them and toss them or sometimes they will even give it back to you.

If you have a bar code and want the number, this little program will read it from a picture
(like the ones on eBay - if they are clear enough). Just run the program and tell it which pic and it gives you the number. I've gotten a couple off eBay this way. It's a Windows type program, so I don't know it will work on a phone, but there must be an App for that.

Speaking of eBay, take a look at this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/harbor-frei...81333635146?pt=US_Coupons&hash=item2a3853b04a

Guess I'm just not in touch with the world these days. I got 2 in the mail and threw them both out, not realizing the value of todays junk mail flyers. If it wasn't snowing, I'd go out and dig them from the trash.

Idiots will ask stupid amounts of money for stuff on ebay. I almost want to make a spoof ebay account and place a bid on items like that.

Well ****. I was getting ready to head out the door and pick up a few things from Horrible Freight. Two of my coupons are OK, but I have one for 6 free items and it expired. Is there a current one out there?

You won't find a coupon for that price, the cheapest you will find is $359. It was posted a few pages back. It is one sale next weekend for $350 during the parking lot sale

The bottom box does go for that, but he is asking for the top box. I had a coupon for it, but it expired on 1-31-14.

Received a reply from HF customer service regarding my mystery parts for the 12" miter saw.

"Thank you for your recent inquiry.

These are the cable keeps for the power cord. You can reference the attached photos for assistance with installing them.

Please include all previous correspondences when replying.
Thank you,
Tommy

Unfortunately, the self tapping screw for the rear one only taps into the plastic less than 1/4" and stripped out before the screw was anywhere near tight. Guess I'll have to dig in my screw jars and find a fatter longer one.

Any chance of a generator coupon floating around? I'm open on size, all I need is something to get some lights going at a house I'm trying to clean out before the appraiser shows up.

Yes, or just use the first half of the numbers under the bar code.

FYI: The torque wrenches that are on sale for $9 are NO LONGER made in Taiwan. They are now being made in the mainland PRC (China)

The Taiwan stuff was supposedly made in same factories that Danaher Tolls uses and/or Williams, etc.

No idea if the quality and accuracy have nosedived. Buy up what you need while they still have the Taiwan made ones in stock.

anything for a fellow B body fan (I used to have a 70 Road Runner) ;)

I've had a 70 rr and a 70 gTx. Have a pile of parts in the shape of a 69 rr now. IMO the 70s are better looking cars. 68-70 are all the same under the skin though.

I picked up the generator on my lunch break. They were having a sidwalk sale so all of them were outside. The guy looked at my receipt, handed it back, then walked over to the 8750 peak watt units. I only paid for the 4kw peak model. Man it was tempting, but if I'd have let him do that I would've felt like a heel every time I used the thing.
