I showed my dealer my two new ratchets last week, he took a pic and sent it to the area manager who said "They're fake."

Until my dealer mentioned my name, and the area manager knew who he meant. He then said "Oh, i didn't know they've brought them back."

It seems some phonecalls are being made to find out when they'll reach this side of the pond through the regular channels.

Not sure if It's been brought up yet, I was on the truck today and we were talking about the upcoming promo that will have the matching micro bottom chest, and it looks like there will be flex head 3/8 and 1/4 hard handles. Not sure if you will have to buy booth to get the micro bottom box or what, he isn't sure when they will come in, but I have a green set on reserve.

While I do like the two I got I like the larger screw driver handles a bit better, little easier to grab. Esp on the 3/8s. I got a #2 handle coming to try on my THLF72 and compare that to the new 1/4.

There is a Christmas promotion for hard handle screw driver sets.

Hey guys first post here. Is the HH screwdriver set on Christmas promo the instinct set? Or are they re-releasing screwdrivers with these handles? I'm looking to pull the trigger on a HH set and would love the handles to be like these rachets. Thanks for any info

hard handle screwdrivers might make it by christmas. should be the same 7 piece sets we saw the last round. I have 9 sets coming in and that was it.... these will vanish instantly

So I'm new to the Snap-on scene and so far all I've done is order stuff off from their website. I'm trying to locate a dealer so I can get the ratchet set with the micro box but no luck so far. Can I contact a dealer from another area or am I stuck dealing with the one in my area?

No luck with the local Snapon guy, didn't get any hard handled anything. No ratchets and no screwdrivers.

my customers eat this stuff up so I make sure i have it on the truck as much as possible.
I wish they could keep up with the demand. It takes a lot longer for the plant to make the old hard handles. and they still have to keep up with the demand of the regular instinct line as well. I can't wait..

My dealer has a couple orange handled 1/4" and 3/8" and a red 3/8" ratchet. I'll grab them and sell to members here if anyone wants them. He's all out of hard handle stuff after that.
If anyone is looking for green or yellow ratcheting screwdrivers he has one of each of those too.

Eagerly awaiting whatever set will come with the matching bottom mini boxes but this damn X--Mas flyer has got me worried... only talks about the "micro top chest box" and nothing about the bottom. DAMZ YOU SNAP ON!!

Also, where the F are the long handle ratchets with the hard handle like in the pic?

Not positive but I think those are the current ratchets. The 1/4 was a long which was nice. Not even sure if the standard length has a handle option now that I think about it. I talked with my guy last week about some of the stuff I wanted in the promotion and he said he had micro boxes but I think they were the tops. Or he didn't open them yet. Said he wasn't really going to get into until after thanksgiving. He's still got a few of FHD80's and the THDL72's hanging in his truck.

I actually kinda like the #2 handle I put on my THLF a little better than the new one.

The 1/4" was indeed the long handle, but that is a joke to me. Why can't they make the chrome part the same length as the TL72? With the hard handle added that would be a nice long handle ratchet. The chrome part of the handle on a THL72 is 1 3/4" where the TL72 is 3 1/2 inches to the point where the hard handle would attach. That is why I like the Matco AFR88TM 1/4" long handle ratchet, it is 9" overall length and the TL72 & THL72 are 6 1/2" overall length.

I am getting off topic.
