Knox's truck is going to look great with the 1" up in the back. Nice swap on the trike/generator.

I thought it was the second thing to go.........The memory is the first to go.lol
I can even imagine what that would feel like at 110, and I’ve done wheelies over 140.110+ in fifth gear, pulls wheelies in all five gears.

Jim, Liane won't let me put flares on mine but I am also a fan of the L88 hood. When I was at Eckler's after a Titusville event, they had one they screwed up (forgot to put the mounting plates in) so I picked it up for a song. Cut the plates out of the original big block hood.Im not a big fan of hood scoops except for the L88 corvette!

I absolutely love the L88 hood but only on the vette.

Sadly I can't remember what went first.I thought it was the second thing to go.
You cut the tree down to get the bananas, so you don't have to climb it. The trunk is like a stalk of celery, it won't support a climber. We cut ours every year before a frost. If they get frozen they turn into black slime!I thought I saw somewhere that once the tree produced you were supposed to cut down the whole tree? Or maybe it was just the branch the bananas grew on. The memory is the first to go.lol

I see a '73 fender vent on a chrome bumper car -- looks great. I opted to hacksaw the vertical bars off my '72 vents. Kinda matches the Eckler's bar grill.

When y'all remember let me know too!I thought it was the second thing to go.
I did a similar Sunbird grill and lights to my Fiat X-1/9. They made for a much better driving experience. You cut the tree down to get the bananas, so you don't have to climb it. It was a 427/475HP 4 speed. It had 12" wide radial T/As on the back, I had to flair the rear to cover the tires. Hand made the front end using parts of a Pontiac sunbird, grill and headlights. The only body part that was still 1969 was the doors. It was too fast and too much torque, I exploded several clutches, so I put a turbo 400 out of a 1 ton truck in it to calm it down a bit. That didnt work so well, it was still uncontrollable but at least I wasn't changing clutches and pressure plates every other week! I do miss the old girl.

They were the best looking thing on the road back then, My biggest problem was hook up, thats one reason I went with the wide tires. It may have been a brute, but there's something sweet about those Vettes. The GM designers got that one right.
My doner was around an 86 ish!I did a similar Sunbird grill and lights to my Fiat X-1/9. They made for a much better driving experience.

I love those old Willys!
