To be honest I I've only used it once, I'll you it more in a few months when I start my apprenticeship as a diesel fitter, but when I used it had quite a nice feel to it, quite fine toothed, only downside is that if you had to use it in a low clearance area it wouldn't be as suitable as other ratchets because of its height, but on the other hand it is narrow so it would be good for tighter areas, I am quite looking forward to use it more, hope this helps

Where did you find that 8816GG? I've looking for one for years. They are indeed very rare.
I've got an 8816, 8816F, 8816G and 8816GK but I've never even seen an 8816GG!!!

The 8816GG belongs to my father, we live in Australia but he bought all his tools in Holland where he grew up, all gedore for his 25years of diesel mechanic, I'm pretty sure he told me he bought it in Switzerland while he was in holiday 20-30odd years ago, it is defiantly a beautiful ratchet, and I have been looking on the Internet for the last year trying to find one for myself with no luck, but the closest I have found is a snap-on one with a hard handle which looks almost identical

Some Hazet tools from the original tool kit in my 57' Isetta. Also in the pics are a Bilstein jack and MotoMeter tire pressure gauge. The Hazet wrenches were pretty rusty when I originally got them and I nickel plated them using a Caswell Electroless Nickel Plating Kit.

Only want to tell you that I´m on it. Still searching co-workers who may remember that kit.

But it was already confirmed that it´s for VW (engine & steering). Could have been a special edition for Australia...

Here are some oldies, I think 300 series metric DOE wrenches. The 10/11 and the 8/9 don't match the set as far as handle markings go but the ends seem a good fit. The 10/11 has no maker markings and the 8/9 has an entirely different Hazet logo. A nice set of wrenches with the smooth ends and the rough black handles.







Here is 2 17 mm combos, one is a 600 series and the other is a 605 (short).



Lastly are my biggest Hazet wrenches, a 1 1/4" and 1 1/16" 600 series combos or open box and a 450 DOE 27 mm/30 mm.

Some Nice warm Hazet to keep things going through this cold snap we're having:

I owe a special THANKS! to GJ member zkling for his generosity and assistance in helping me acquire this set of 430 tubular box sockets here in Canada from the USA. Thanks buddy, I owe you one!!! The logo is stamped in and it is not very deep. You may have to zoom in to see more detail. The Hazet "tube spanners" are drop forged from hexagonal steel bars and have bright chrome plated heads. These are a big step up from pressed steel tube spanners which seem to be the norm for this style tool. I'm missing a 14/15, and a 21/23. For a complete set I'd also need 5.5x7, 6x7 and 32x36 which would give my set all the sizes available however I won't be losing sleep over not having all the sizes.

Another bump.

I had a bunch of fun in my original thread that I had to search for more. I'm hooked. These tools are so darn classy. There's a lot of old-time nostalgia/feel infused with modern aesthetic.

Anyhow, here's my first contribution to the thread.
