OK OK
Now we know where they've all been disappearing to.

Now we want to see some nice old tools you have in those. I bet you can keep this thread going for a while just on your own!

Thanks

I bought 14 at once some year ago but sold many of them to friends and a few to other enthousiasts and only kept a few for myself, after that I kept searching for all different types (still looking :D).

Old line up of the 14:

Those are very nice. I hadn't seen the square cornered ones before seeing your photos.

You can link your photos from a photo sharing site.

(By the way, the tray in your 905Z set is upside down.):D

Thanks but don't want the do it that way, you often see that the pictures get lost over time .

It's a special upside down collectors item .

I picked up my first Hazet tool today. I paid a whopping 50¢ for it.
A #V-10 metric DOE 8mm/13mm (odd pairing) black oxide wrench.
(the pics are after de-rusting on the wire wheel and a wipe with oil)

Went to the tip/dump this afternoon to get rid of some rubbish and nearly fell in the metal skip when I saw this. Pulled it straight out lol. It's an early model but not sure exactly what year.

While visiting my folks I saw this blue box under the workbench. I pulled it out and remember using it to help my Dad work on cars in the 60's and 70's. He asked me if I wanted to take it because he doesn't use it anymore, I say yes and give it a new home. He couldn't remember how much he paid but thought it was around $50.00 used in the 50's.

Dan5 and Buster21 those are YOU **** deals!!! Buster is that an all metal box? Metric?
Nice finds guys.

Wout as you may well know, in keeping with the World Global Warming Conference being held in Paris, France, Garage Journal is conducting a sister conference there pertaining to Global Swarming in an effort to fend off the swarming of particular brands of tools throughout the world. As you are aware the swarming of Hazet tools in Germany and neighbouring countries throughout Europe (including Belgium) has created a gross imbalance globally of Hazet tools. It has been found that you are in violation of "Fair Allowances" by a factor of 15% and are therefor required to allocate some of your Hazet tools to countries which have been adversely and unfairly affected by Global Swarming such as Canada (where I happen to live :D).

Elsewhere around the world USA is in serious violation with it's massive concentration of Snap-On Tools per capita. Fortunately for them their northern neighbour Canada is in deficit and can accept as many Snap-On tools as required for them to comply with the new global limits.

Do your part to prevent Global Swarming. Contact me for the address for where to send your tool overages :pimpflash.

so I guess you sell them...

I can't say I need one but will gladly save some space for you... would also liberate the dollies on the other page they need refurbishing anyway.

Sorry not intending to sell anything. Did sell some Assistents in the past and kind of regret it .
Maybe change an Assistent for a type that I don't have yet could happen :D.

About the dollies, sorry they're not like new but like most of my Hazet-tools I like them in 'used' condition. Should polish them a bit, I know sorry about that :).

Wout, what a great collection you've got there!! Really envious :)
When looking through your pictures I'm kind of amazed I managed to get an Assistent myself. Maybe because it was painted grey, it didn't set off your automatic blue tool alarms :p

BTW, is that your garage?!? I didn't even know they made 'em that big in this country :)

Thanks! Result of many years searching/collecting :). Now it's much more difficult to find Hazet ad a reasonable price, few years back it was much easier and less searched after (imo). Prefer to find them in original paint and not restored condition so when your Assistent is not that old I probably wasn't interested :). Like the white one I have, is original paint :).
Yes, built it myself so it was not too expensive. Not finished yet and not that big (100m²).

Yes it is a all metal box with individual cut outs for the sockets. Sockets are metric 1/2" drive 12 point.

I could buy a very nice old and real one a few weeks ago but way over my budget. So for now I have the cheap Ikea solution on it (fits like a glove AND usable)...
