I'm quite intrigued by this box. I called my local Napa and they said they'd be willing to have one brought in for me to check out.

That's good service! Honestly, for the price I can't see them having a problem selling it if you don't buy it.

Anybody know of a source for the other Homak RS-Pro boxes, aside from Homak themselves? Really tempted to sell this HF 56" box i bought in November and getting one of these boxes, but i want orange. :dunno:

Napa can order them. It won’t be at the sales price. You’d have to go in and talk to someone.

Been waiting almost 3 weeks for mine. Suppose to be here tomorrow.

They loaded with a forklift onto my pickup... And I'm a farmer, so had the forklift available on my end to unload. It's definitely heavy

I was checking out this box at my local NAPA asked how much and the kid gives me the price and says it includes free delivery.

I'm 3 weeks into waiting for mine to be delivered. I'm trying to figure out a creative way to spend all my rewards points. They'll only let me use 1 5dollar reward per transaction. I may be ordering tools socket by socket.

Lurker - first time poster..! Will create a thread soon to help get the positive word out for the Homak RS Pro Series. Well- built, drawers and cabinet are NOT flimsy, no dints and no scratches after unwrapping the two 42” stack cabinets. On a plane, let’s see if I can link some pics of Competition Orange.

Got the call this morning. Loaded in the truck with a fork lift. Unloaded with the crane. Packaged very well. Not a ding or scratch. Very impressed. I knew that the top drawer was double slide, but I was happy to see that the bottom deep drawers are too. The top could be thicker stainless, that would be nice. I am not at all disappointed with this box.

Looks good! Interesting that its gloss black, the ad makes it look like a flat/textured black for some reason.

Although i just realized on the first page there are pictures of gloss black boxes that i somehow missed. :lol_hitti

I hadn't seen a picture of the black one anywhere but on Homak's website and the Napa ad. I called :willy_nil Homak and asked if it was matte or glossy. They verified glossy, so that's why I went with it. If not, I would have done blue.

The stainless top is actually a stainless cover over a particle board top. I guess the upside to this is that you could remove and replace with solid wood or another material in the future

For what its worth all "stainless tops" are like this, yes even with the truck brands. If it was a solid chunk of steel it would weigh far more than the toolbox.

Don't overlook the biggest benefit of SS tops, they work great as giant note pads. Use marker, erase later with solvent.

Think the blue or red looks best .
Guy who comes in and does overflow work for me after a 72" he can use as light duty bench right in front of lift area, I told him I would try find him something and chip in 800bucks as owe him a bonus and been looking for used matco but nothing a good deal come up yet, may see if he wants new and go for one of these .

Has anybody priced the other color 72" boxes from Napa yet? Planning on asking when i've gotta pick up parts later this week, but noticed something interesting on there site.

They list the black 72" as TSS NA17072281. They also list the black 41" as TSS NA07016411. Then i noticed the red and blue 72"s have the same last number as the corresponding 41" box. The orange 41" ends in a 0, and turns out if you enter TSS NA17072280 it comes up on Napa's site as "Tool Storage" for $1299 just like the other boxes. Same thing if you put a 9 for green.

Makes me wonder if the green and orange boxes are $1299 as well, IF they are available. But you would think they'd be listed in the sales flyer with the others. :headscrat

Hey guys, lurker here. For those wanting the 54" like myself, it's on NAPA's web site under part # TSS BK04056010 (black). But the site says "Pricing and availability is temporarily unavailable online". My guess is that it's going to be avalibe next quarter, but I haven't called to confirm. As for other colors, just change the BK to RD for red, LG for green, OG for orange, BL for blue. Also the 72" also comes in a top and bottom combo set for $1899.00. Just search for 72RSCOMB in NAPA's search.

I tried to get a green or an orange box at the sale price and my local area manager wasn't able to. Could give me a discount from the price listed on Homak's website but price difference of Quarter 1 flyer colors wasn't worth it to me. He said they will probably have the orange and green colors available Quarter 1 2019 but I do not plan on waiting that long.

Just left my Napa, and have them looking into an orange box. There system showed 6 TSS NA17072280 available, and retail was $1299.99. They're hoping to have an answer today to verify it's an orange 72", and if they can get one thrown in with an order to get free shipping.

Here is a fun update... Somehow napa shipped the 2 boxes from Abq, NM to Sacramento CA instead of Scottsdale, Az... I wonder if I can get my freight charge back.

Obviously, not the 72", but here are pics of my new Orange 41" combination boxes. Ordered Dec 29th or so -- Arrived next morning at my local store from the regional NAPA distribution store on their daily parts delivery at zero freight charge. Boxes arrived wrapped securely to a wooden pallet. Very well boxed up. I was worried about dents and scratches - but I had zero of either. Anyway - the drawer action feels solid - not like what I experienced at the Big Box stores, the orange paint finish is flawless, and the metal is reasonably robust.

Looks good! Is the drawer handle trim easily removable? Still waiting to hear if the orange 72" comes with a stainless top or if thats parts of the Napa special, amazing how little anybody knows about these. If it doesn't come with a top i'll probably just go with the black box and throw on some orange or chrome accents.

Update. Napa sent another box from Abq to Scottsdale. The guys dropped it off in my driveway for me to unpack. I'll admit it was packed really really well. After about 5 mins I was looking at the box and took the first picture. I then noticed the bent bottom. I called napa and they sent 3 employees to come pick it up. I'm now playing the... Will you keep it if we take money off game as they are going to have to fight the shipper as to who messed it up.

Summary.
Box 1- wait time 5 weeks. Still in Sacramento.
Box 2- wait time 5 days. Arrived bent.

Colin, that is a bummer.

Picked mine up yesterday. Shooting a video today for release tomorrow. Does anyone have any questions for me to answer in the video?

Looking forward to your video.
I am really interested in getting one of these.
I can’t find a Napa near me that actually has one to look at.

As far as what to shoot.
I would like to hear what you think of the drawer latches.
Also, could you throw some stuff in the 1.5 tall middle drawers.

Many thanks....

Nice Box! I am thinking about grabbing one of these for myself. Is there any channels or bracing under the big top drawer? Is there a good structure were the casters are attached?

So with the end of the sale coming up here soon does anyone know what they will be asking for this toolbox regular price? The 72”? He said in the video around 22 or 24 but wanted to know if anyone knew exact?

The green and orange Homak's are available through Napa for $1575, i assume the red/black/blue boxes will be the same. But apparently the stainless top is exclusive to the Napa special and nobody can tell me whether or not its available separately. Makes me wonder if the 72x24" Masterforce tops would fit.

No extra bracing under the big drawer. Casters are solidly attached.

I based those price estimates on Homak's website price ($2246?) and what I thought was a non-sale price at Napa (I think I was quoted somewhere between $2400-2500).
