I don't have the Tool Box, but I did get the 35" Pro Slide Top Service Cart on toolbox. I paid $500 for it brand new (new, but opened box) and have been absolutely pleased with the fit and finish from this company.

Where did you get your Service Cart from? I found what part number it is, but Napa can't seem to get a price for it. I might end up having to buy it direct from Homak.

Well I have an unexpected update. My napa refunded me my 1402 today. Apparently the entire shipping container was dropped and every single toolbox was dented in the middle. They are now fighting with Homak to get a new supply. In the meantime I either have to wait or simply find a new box option.

Interesting. I'm still waiting for word on my orange 72", may have to give them a call tomorrow and see whats up. My sales guy was told by the franchise manager that they would be in late April/early May. Unfortunately for me i'm working basically 7-7 everyday and the Napa i deal with closes at 5:30, 12:30 on Saturday, and closed Sunday. So even if it was in i'd have to pay for freight or have it shipped to another Napa further away that is open till 9. :lol_hitti Or i just sell my soul to my neighbor that owns a Snap-On truck and has been trying to get me to order a box for a couple years......

Anyone have a green one yet? Would like to see some pics.

Also, was on the napa website today and if you reserve online it said 10% off. So, pricing I saw was $1169. Not sure of the process or if orange or green is avaliable for the price or how long that offer is good for.

Wow! I'm picking up my blue 72" base cabinet this week. I tried to order the upper, but no luck. That orange combo looks awesome!

Just got mine in today, no complaints so far. Paid $1199+7% tax, and 5% back in Napa rewards.

Yep, probably the best value on the market right now. Fit and finish is very nice, drawers all open and latch easily, lifetime warranty, and i really like the drawer layout. So much nicer than the 56" HF box it replaced. Now i just need to get a matching orange cart to replace my black 5 drawer HF cart and i'll be set.

Yeh I like the drawer layout on the homak 72", smaller homak boxes not so good and have too many deep same size drawers .
I quite like the orange, looks right for mechanical/enginneering box and a refreshing change from the awful common red :)
Only 2 things that seem poor on the rs pro box is latches mounted to inside of drawer side panel rather than the outer side. also find the 100lb slide rating bit low and would of liked see it 150lb same as masterforce new models .
Warranty and spares good too for this price range .
Makes us general look overpriced for 90day warranty and plastic finger spring bolt catches .

Man, I love that Orange! I wish I had pushed harder to get that option.

However, I finally picked up my blue one yesterday. I'll post some pics once I get it in place.

Kicking myself for not watching this thread and picking one up for 10% off. Anyone know how often they run sales on these?

How did you get orange, and how did you pay less than 1299?

I can only find these through the NAPA flyer, I can never find them via the website itself, and they only advertise red, black and blue.

When I ordered mine the manager took off about $60, plus I got 12xx in points. 10% online reserve is not available to me.

I was told the same thing about the online reserve and was told they could not match that price in the store. They gave me $50 off of the $1299. I was out the door at $1337 with tax.

Glad I went with the blue and loving the quality/fit and finish of the box. Feels similar and as sturdy as my Dad's Mac box.

Rather disappointed with my NAPA experience between the slight run around, not being able to match prices in the store from their own website, the attitude from the store owner, and the lack of anybody at the location knowing anything about the rewards program which I was a prior member of and now lost $65+ in rewards because "I should be grateful I got it for under the ridiculously low sale price".

Whatever, I guess. Just glad it showed up without any damage so I don't have to return to that store anymore. Maybe its not worth complaining about at this point.

I agree with liking the drawer layout. If I could the only change I would make is a matching 5' high drawer on the left bank above the tall bottom drawer like the right bank has.

I would also like to have seen higher weight drawer slides but if you look at Snap On Classic 96 boxes that are well over 4x the price of this box comes with 120lb slides. With that being said, these feel much better than any other 100lb drawer slides found on Husky, Kobalt, Craftsman, HF, etc. I would think with annual cleaning and lube the 100lbs rating is probably conservative anyways. I'm satisfied.

My blue 72" is still waiting to be set up, but I wanted to comment on the service from NAPA. In my case, they were great. Yes, they weren't familiar with the box, but they dug into it, found and actual box, and were very flexible in working with me to pick it up. I have zero complaints, and they have likely earned more business from me because of this.

That being said, I'd still like to have an orange one also...

I got my 72" today. The right bank of drawers seem to be tweaked. Offloaded it to see if that would settle it but they are still not aligned flush when opened or closed especially the bottom two. Visually I can see the slides are tweaked on the drawers that don't align, worst one is the bottom. Anyone else have these issues?

Really don't want to have to load back up, return and wait another 3 weeks for another box. Going to see if they can order me new slides.

I would swap slides from a good fitting drawer and see if helps the alignment .
While drawers out I would measure up slide pressed slots to see if off position .
If different slides don't help try mount drawer different location in drawer bank .
Check drawer too for any off square issues .
Once you got better idea what likely wrong you can contact napa/homak and have better idea on what best options are for you and the box .

****... Looks like NAPA increased the prices on these for July.

The 72" roller cabinet is now 1729.

I was quoted 1500-something for the 41" combo, up from 999. However the new catalog has them for 1129, so I am not sure whats going on there.

Either way, they raised the price, which *****. I was waiting to finish some other stuff in my garage before I ordered. And theres no Menards where I live... guess its HF or bust. :/

Edit: Called a second NAPA. The 41" combo is 1129... thats not too bad a price, and only up ~13% from their previous price. The 72" roller cabinet is backordered and the new price is 1729, so we are screwed on that.

That a shame .
72" masterforce is the new best lower cost buy then as normally can be had with 200bucks off.
Masterforce quality is very good but drawer layout on all range has way too many deep drawers, for me I would have spend extra on spare shallow drawers to custom layout if spare drawers available and box shell have multi position stamped slots .

Well ****. I was waiting to buy as I had other expenses to take care of first. For that much I'll work with my snappy guy on a used box or buy a HF and buy more tools.

The closest Menards is two states away, so thats a no-go for me. Are they branded under another name that is sold elsewhere?

Theres something about the HF I dont love, feels kinda cheap to me. I know for a few yrs there was nothing in its price range that competed, but it doesnt seem like it anymore with the RS Pro at NAPA and the Masterforce (albeit before the RS Pro went to 1730 bucks)

I'm still strongly considering that Homak RS Pro 41" combo. That is still a lot of CI's for the money. I really wanted that 72", but I will survive.

I really want a 72 to utilize the top as work space. The RS Pro fit the bill perfect. We dont have Menards here so I'm stuck with HF, Snappy, RS Pro, or the generic boxes. I like the drawer layout on the RS the best, but for $700 more its hard to pull the trigger when the HF will still suffice.

Thats what I was thinking, but I should be able to rearrange a little and make it work.

I just did some searching. For the 1730 NAPA wants, you can probably buy the Homak H2Pro and have it shipped to you. Its their best tool box line and you wouldnt have to pay tax since you're buying it out of state.

Just another option if you decide you don't want the HF.

I'll look into it. It depends on where the box is purchased from for us with tax as WA is requiring sales tax to be collected for online purchases. Most websites are up to date with it like Ebay.

That ***** that they raised the price. I'm glad that I got mine last month, but I was hoping the top box would be offered at a reduced price by NAPA at some point. I like this box, but at the new price I would go with the 72" from Harbor Freight (or combinations of their smaller boxes) or a used box for home use (no Menards in New England).

So, I just looked at the flyer. They are advertising the 72" top and bottom combo, in all the colors, for $2300. That still seems like a good deal. $1000 over the old price to add the top box. Kind of wish I had held out for orange now...

Where are you seeing this price? I don't see the 72" base cabinet listed in the quarterly flyer anymore. All I see is the combos.

Base cabinet isnt listed anymore. I called NAPA and asked to get the new price.

I personally don't need that much space, so the combo isnt for me.

Is quite a price jump, good look on the used market worth some time/effort as a decent used truck brand box or mid range box makes great buy if can find something suitable .

Has anyone been able to find drawers? I would like to replace my bottom drawer in my cart with 3 slim drawers, if possible.

After looking at my box, I don't think you can move drawers. If you look at how the latches grab, the catch is welded to the frame.

I was looking at swapping some drawers around but I don't think it can be done. If someone finds something otherwise please let us know.

You can order these through Homak now, for not much more than NAPA.

NAPA is probably a better deal with their 5% back in NAPA bucks (or whatever its called), but its not a lot after you pay tax.

Thanks to this guy, I just purchased a lime green version of this same cart; I'll post pictures once I pick it up from Napa
