Well it showed they had 3 of the clipped PC nailers, but there were none in stock at that store or the other store in down. One of the workers said he was asked about it Friday and scoured the store. It would be nice if they made inventory corrections when they realized there was a problem.

Yeah. I had a similar experience. I wrote corporate a lengthy email about my terrible experience with their online and in - store inventory systems. I was able to go into another store that said they had 1 round head nailer in stock online and surprisingly it was there. I picked that one up as well so I've got that and the clipped head. I'm just going to keep both and so I have the option available to just use whichever nails are cheaper at the time.

I picked up the clipped head nailer today. The $99 price tag was still up, but had to get a manager to honor it

In store only and YMMV

Also the shingle hammer with a hickory handle was $5. I passed because I will never use it. Someone else is better off grabbing that deal.

I went back and asked if they could do any better on price for the rest of the stock and the person on the floor offered about another few percent...not even 10% more off. I politely asked if that was the best they could do....I wasn't looking to pay 10 cents on the dollar, just better since if I get tight on tiles, I'm screwed and $50 isn't enough savings for me for the risk.

So, I've been watching my tile and it was marked down another 12%. Wife was pissed from the first purchase attempt so I bought it this time :rocker:

Just got back from my Home depot, and it looks like they are clearancing out all of the Norton sandpaper packs to replace them with 3m.

20 sheet packs were $10, 8 packs were $5. A decent deal

I'm not surprised one bit by this outcome. Glad you got the deal though!

My HD moved the Ryobi cordless fan to the clearance section & put it at $19.99, down from an alleged $24.99. So, not huge savings but apparently it wasn't that expensive to start with. Too bad, I kinda liked the idea of a cordless fan, although I never could think of why exactly.

Also not clearance but some good deals on Werner ladders, most notably the aluminum 6' with blue plastic for $39. This a case of "New Lower Price," but don't be fooled, they'll jack the price up again soon, so it's really a "sale." And of course if you can wait 'til BF there will be at least one ladder for under $20, but it may have been a 5' last year??

Hope this wasn't posted before, I know I didn't see it so I figured I'd post. I went to Home Depot today to buy this exact knife in a single pack for ~$13. Found this double pack in the clearance section on my way to the register, scanned it and $6 for both. I left with 6 packs of them, so now my Xmas shopping for friends is done...

As a side note, they actually had 2 packs of these that had been returned (one stapled shut and one glued shut, both sloppy). I took them up to the register to ask the girl to open them before I bought them, make sure they were in good condition. She let me check them and then she gave them to me at half price because she said she wanted to get them out of the store, lol...

Nice deal. I saw that model in the store the other day (single pack). My wife got me the older style one two years ago. Looking at this new model, they have definately lowered the quality when compared to the model I got a few years ago. The new ones look like they're made out of stamped metal rivited together, whereas the older ones were much more solid and ergonomic.

Regardless, for $6/2, you can't really go wrong.

Still 12.** at my store...at least at one of the two I visited.

I have a couple already and I have been nothing but impressed with them. Very robust design and haven't let me down yet. The one I've had in my toolbag I've had for right around a year and I have had zero issues with it.

May have found last one in Easton, Pa, but there are probably a few more out there. SKU 0000-649-305. Marked at $18, but ring up at $9. Got mine for $8.10 with military discount.

Still rang up full price in Champaign, IL. While I was there I scanned a couple of other wrench sets. I found one ringing up for $7. I bought both at that store.

Part#1000 037 917 Husky 22pc wrench set.

Not my sale but just available pic.
